So far the only un-unique face i've drawn on DERPCat is his derpface. In my opinion you can't not draw something that hasn't resembled or been done before. But you can put your own original style on it, such as i am doing with this project.

I'm still working on the general design of DEROCat. So far i've only drawn him with detailed expressions.
Also i am keeping the shading to a minimum atm so i can focus on more important things.

And i am still learning how to use inkscape. But i plan on using it for the general design and what not.

Btw thanks to everyone who contributed ideas for the comic, most likely i will be using my friends for the main characters. But if i do use an idea here i will be sure to elt you know.

Dunno what your exactly trying to do. Though does sound like a funny idea to have like an arch nemesis for DERPCat.

Allow me to introduce myself first of all. I'm DERPcat not to be confused with my comical alter ego DERPCat (notice the cap'd c).
I very recently just started to mess with art again and decided i wanted to recreate myself and give comic making a try.

Here you can see the progress i have made so far with DERPCat. I am still working out kinks with his design. Such as color, main facial expression, personality, etc.
I would love some professional opinions on this and tips, tricks or w/e advice i can get in character design and comic making.

Also i used gimp and a mouse.

Thanks in advance to all who comment (just in case i miss ya).<a
