On a lighter note, does anyone find Dr. Kevorkian a little creepy? I know I do.
Anyone who makes killing his business is a little iffy in my book..
For those in canstant suffering, incurable, be it physical or psychological, I would definitely be for assisted suicide. Of course this brings up the whole mess of free choice and will, accountability and liability... we wouldn't want any more Kevorkians (sp?) running about, mercy killing people who can't even make a sentient decision.

Last time I checked, countries like France, Germany, Russia, etc., were a bit more important than Australia.
No offense to anyone.
True, and these very same countries are the ones most able to counter terrorist retalliation on their own territory. I believe Australia stuck its nose in a situation it can't fully handle.
What can I say... it's an ass-backwards way of thinking.
Poor old GW just wants to get back at all those meanies who "done tried" to kill his daddy.

In divorce the people should keep what is in there names and children will go with the parent who is best overall ie. salary, criminal record etc.
It's called a prenumptual agreement, a marriage contract? You really should look into the topics you rant about, buddy.
It's much too late now to even be thinking of withdawing, much less to do so as a result of threats. This new kidnapping trend should only highten the reolve of countries battling to bring an end to the excess of violence in the middle east.
A world with one set of beliefs wouldn't truly be any different from the world we know now. Notice how only extremists use their God as a pretence for violent action. The bulk of all religions is peaceful, and I'd go so far as to say enlightened. Take Renaissance Europe for example; they were a continent ruled by one pope, and yet, one of the most divided in terms of number of independent states. My point is basicallt that man has always found some reason or other to enter conflict, be it religion, race, land, resources, etc... Its very unlikely the borders will ever drop, completely.
I'd rather have it done right, and out of my sight. 25 bucks'll do it.
I may be one to bash the United States every once in a while, but I believe it to be, at the core, a nation of good intentions. I just despise republicans in general, who come off as gun slinging rednecks lacking primary education. I'm a proud and true Canadian, but I like to think of America as kin (at least during Democratic terms).

Ah--I was operating in the mindset of the U.S. minimum wage--$5.15/hr. Nevermind.
It's all good.

What is the minimum wage in Montreal, or in Canada in general?
I guess it could be that they pay higher in certain markets, and lower in others, but I can't see the "most" jobs being minimum wage entry level.
Oh, I didn't want to generalize for all of the North American market, btw. The minimum wage in the province of Quebec is very close to 7.50 (can) an hour. Walmart will hire cashiers and clerks for about 8$ an hour.

Seriously though, most positions at Wal Mart pay around the minimum wage as a starting salary. How do you know??
My dad is a regional manager, offered me plenty of low end jobs working for the Sam man. Starting positions are at barely 50 cents over minimum wage here. My father though is raking in the big bucks though, so it seems.

Do they pay you to pleasure Sam Walton himself? Seriously though, most positions at Wal Mart pay around the minimum wage as a starting salary.
It is scary when you think of it, that you might be intimate with someone who was once of the same sex as you. I suppose its better never to find out in the first place...
I just love how he absolutely had to state, " We are not an imperialistic nation..."
They wanted to demonstrate superiority, and thus bring the war to a halt. What really pisses me off is the fact that america could simply have shown this elsewhere than in 2 heavily populated cities.

Your own two eyes and ears.
Media controlling the government? I'd go out on a limb and say the contrary is most likely true.

You're probably confusing with the fact that we have provincial prime-ministers. It would be like comparing a governor to the president himself. Its state versus federal government, basically.
Open-mindedness is the key... but I have to admit that at any age, its hard to stray from core convictions. I have to deal with children about ten hours a day, between teaching classes and tutoring. I can't help but stray at times from my usual "zen-like" state of mind. Man is a very stubborn beast.
A force/symbol of goodness, integrity, humble pride, enlightened superiority and absolute faith. Humans are far too inferior to begin understanding any superior entity. For now, we should be content with doing good.. whether or not in the name of a supreme being or not. Evil in the name of good.. doesn't make much sense.

A single bombing raid on Tokyo with napalm during 1945 killed more people than Hiroshima, or Nagasaki, if not less than the two combined.
What the hell are you talking about? You got a source?
The use of atomic weapons wasn't overkill. The Japanese WANTED to continue fighting, right even after the two big bombs! It took a personal attempt from the Emperor to bring things to a halt, and even then, there were STILL people who wanted to fight.
They are a proud people! Did you ever think of that?
Without the bombs being used, then what? Invasion? Oh yah, marines being forced to shoot at women with bamboo sticks is SO much better for everyone involved. Japan would NOT have been able to recover had the bombs not been used. Period.
Who the hell are you to assume that, Nostradamus' illegitimate descendant? The use of nuclear weapons was just a spiteful act, because Japan managed to catch the entire pacific fleet with its panties down.
I hold that event in history on the same level of attrocity as the holocaust. In that case, you don't know a whole lot about historical genocide.
I meant on the same level of attrocity. Read things in context, before opening your little smartass mouth.

People like you, who contribute practically nothing to your country is the reason the majority of school children in the US can't even point out their country on a world map, why crack heads seem to be crawling in ever corner of your cities, why people are indebted for life because of complicated surgeries. Supporting a strong government ensures a strong community.

Irrelevant. It may very well be that america does suck.
I hold that event in history on the same level of attrocity as the holocaust. That's asinine.
I'll let you pick: A slow death via fire, or an even slower death, vomiting a viscous pulp that is composed of your inner organs. Radiation poisoning is a very cruel way of disposing of elderly people and infants. Put that in your yankee pipe and smoke it.
What's this about the government not observing the religious significance of christmas?! Roman Catholicism is still the governing religious authority here in Quebec, and politicians here damn sure aren't afraid to wish everyone a merry christmas, on account that it will insult some minority religions or cults.

Damnit, did the Japanese ever launch a massive attack on an american civilian target during the entire span of the war? Hell no, so quit your damned estrogen fueled rants.
