or was that to respect the owner's privacy?
Apparently ram-raiders/petrol station robbers etc use number plates they get off the net.... a lot of the cars on vehicle-trading sites like autotrader.co.uk blank out the license plates for that reason

Truth to be told is im scared to die and dont ever want to die.
Well, that's just silly. Everything dies, if it didn't, there wouldn't be any space for the things being born - not just humans, but all living things. Many people are scared of death, but it's pointless... eventually your body simply cannot continue to live any more. It's natural, and something that people shouldn't be afraid of.
People who do suicide must have fucking guts to do it because i dont think I ever will.
I agree, I've never thought of suicide as 'the coward's way out' as some people refer to it. It takes some determination to fight and win against probably the most dominant natural instinct: survival

If you must post a video outside of the video thread, at least start the topic with more than three words and a link
I'm not sure why, but I actually find that more obscene than lemonparty or goatse

Few options (usinf 'tf' as the textfield instance name):
Put a transparent MC over the top and use that to set tf.text="";
Put it inside an MC and use on(press){this.tf.text="";}
Use htmlText and asfunction to run a function when clicking the text:
tftxt="I like to eat bananas";
tf.htmlText = "<a href=\"asfunction:CLEARTF\">"+tftxt+"</a >";
function CLEARTF(){
tf.htmlText = "";
}

I don't think that site gives accurate results for UK cable, it gave me 1887/249
I used http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.

That's not bad at all, generally pretty well sung. Needs more manic laughter throughout

If you're seeing popups on NG, you have a virus/trojan/spyware on your machine and need to find a program to clean it ASAP. According to Tom, NG should be popup-free, especially with Firefox
1) If you want your dream to be made into Flash, then get Flash, learn it, and make your own.
2) This doesn't belong in General. If it belongs anywhere, it should be in Flash. But if you post it there I'll lock it too.
3) Don't recreate failed threads.

Don't be silly, now, it's all very funny until someone gets hurt. When you're stuck in the hospital watching blood pour out of someone's eye, being anally probed by by butch male nurses, you'll see the error of your ways.
Boo! Rubbish! Get off the stage!!!! *throws rotten tomato*

I've felt exactly the same since virtually the moment the news broke... what makes her so special that we have to see her mug plastered all over the world? Nothing.
So stop making an elephant out from a fly and shut up about it already or I will kidnap and kill your cat.
I have no cat, but you're welcome to the wife

Approved, and it was me that banned you on the previous track, for which I apologise. There's often very little to go on when judging whether a track is legit or not, and your username/empty profile was what made me more than a bit wary - I understand why you had the username now you've explained it, but we recently had a spate of spam accounts created using 12-length alphanumeric names, a couple of which submitted to the AP, so I assumed you were another one of them.
I've emailed admin to lift the ban since currently we audio mods don't have that power after the initial ban/approve. Once again, sorry for the bad call on my part.

I too am interested in any insight or input people have on this. I noticed that AP copyright got tighter with the redesign, but as you say, it almost seems to discourage people from using AP material in ther Flash work. I know very little about copyright or legalities but I'd definitely like to know more on this issue

SOAS stepped down ages ago, because she preferred to be a normal user rather than an authority figure.

Yup, that about sums it up.
Of course one of us makes a mistake now and again, but most bans are justifiable.... and more often than not the users who are banned are either those who didn't read the BBS rules, or those who did but chose to deliberately ignore them.
yeah thanks for that

You do realise it's spelled 'Pigeon', right?
Also, if it's a crew/club, it belongs in Clubs & Crews, not here

Very weird, maybe it was something with the spelling - I checked it a lot... so I don't think so.
But the important thing is that it works.
Cool :) Always worth running traces when you hit coding trouble, to narrow down the possible errors.

I believe you can cancel a bid (I assume you're talking about eBay) if you do it within a certain time of bidding, but it stays on your feedback page for 3 months
