Well, i am interested.

I have no whacky piece on my audio page, but you can still browse through it.
I'll work on something tonight or tomorrow.

I got a question, though. How fast/slow would you like the music to be ?

That game sure looks sweet !

However, you forgot to mention what genre you are looking for.
Whatever it is, i'm 100% interested in taking part in this.

Well, which overworld ? There have been alot of Mario games. If you could be more precise, that would help.

Also, because of many other requests, you will need to be very patient. It's going to take quite some time.

Forgot to ask. Is there any piece in particular you would like to be remixed ?

I have nothing Mario-related, but i did some "epic" remixes. Here are a few examples :
Dedede theme from the kirby series :

Hyrule's Castle from Zelda : a Link to the Past :

Marble Zone from Sonic :

When i can, i'll make some demos for your project.

Sounds pretty interesting. I might be willing to help (if you think my music is acceptable). Make sure to post here again (in a new topic) when things get started. Most of us would probably forget about the project. Besides, you'll get more answers if you have something concrete.

If it has the theme in it, and any portation of the movements, it's fine.

Well, the theme is going to be included in each movement, slightly modified.

Keep in mind though, length is not necessarily going ot get you a better score.

I can tell you i'm not the best when it comes to length. The whole purpose of having the three movements is diversity.

Mario Kart and SSBB

Mario Kart is good, but there's something i HATE : The fact that you may be good at the game, you may finish the race in last place. And the better you are, the worse are the troubles. As i'm always first, i quickly lose my place.

SSBB is absolute fun, though, and everyone can play, no matter how bad/good you are.

David Eddings

Never heard of him. Although i'm a fan of fantasy and heroic fantasy, i'm not into occidental literature in a general way. Harry Potter, LOTR and the others are too "classical" to me. I'm more into asian literature such as "the Art of War" by Sun Tzu or the "Shoninki".
