I have no solid information to back this up but I'm pretty sure that David Firth probably does quite a few drugs to produce the stuff he does. So sadly my money would be on him. I'd say myself but you stated "great" animator :p.

Maybe it might be better for activity but it seems weird to me that's all. Maybe because I am used to the current system of things.

I agree. Although I'm now a member of the EGB I like that these two clubs are seperate, I don't really see if the "merge" idea would work or not and to be honest it feels a little like the NGPD would just be admiting that it was dead. I don't think that anybody wants that.

I also bumped into Tails post of losing interest in this club and man I feel you.

It's common for users to lose interest in Newgrounds, nevermind a thread. People will always come and go (giggerdy) no matter who they are. Tails it turns out isn't the exception that breaks the rule.

Fortunately for me Decky has been replying and it doesn't feel that way yet.

O' I see what you mean. I agree to some extent with what you are saying. what I was trying to do with this piece was create a quite simple punk guy graphic for the center and due to my style of drawing being cartoony and no matter what I do and how much I try and change it it'll probably always be so, that's how it came out. I'll try and make something better soon.

This is true although I really didn't like being associated with some of the earlier drawings in that place, plus I have had a username change since I created that art thread.

Knowing that you posted the guy in the emoticon collab really takes away from my opinion of the first piece... he doesn't belong.

Hmmm, I have to disagree with the idea that he doesn't fit. I know that some of the first poster was used in another one of my pieces but it has been edited and I'm not sure if saying that a guy with a mohawk sticking two fingers up doesn't belong on a punk rock festival poster. If that is what you mean.

The 2nd one is much better. I like the background. It's busy but works.

Thank you, I tried to go for a kind of busy heavily graffitied toilet wall kind of thing with the background, I'm quite pleased with how it worked out.

The reds don't match.

I was trying to draw the eye to the title and "Rancid" by using two different reds.

Thanks for your feedback :).

Decky's Warped Mind Posted March 26th, 2012 in Art

Welcome to my art thread!

I know that I've already got one but it has been inactive for a while and I've started to create pieces in a different style, using more advance software and a general improvement in my art so I think it's time for a fresh start. So here we go:

1st work

I created a poster for the UK punk festival Rebellion Festival for a college project. I used flash for the guy and then edited it in Photoshop. The background was created by scanning in various hand drawn doodles and then layering them on top of each other in various visibilities. The text was created by ripping and scanning in letters from flyers to give a punk feel to the poster. Enjoy.

Firstly, words like "brah" have no place in this club. The idea is to speak as if you were in the high society back around 200 years ago, please keep that in mind. Secondly you signed up this year, you're a peasant. If you have an old account then tough, you aren't currently using it.

Roller Coaster Tycoon (lost)
Roller Coaster Tycoon 2
Zoo Tycoon (lost, including all of the expansions)
Moon Tycoon (if that is even an official one, it cost me around £5 a few years back)

I believe I shall post in this thread often. I may even go on Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and get a screenshot for you lot :). Don't hold your breathe it might not happen and to be honest I don't it'll be that impressive.

Needless to say that after quite a few pints of that (one of which we topped up with JD. I have no idea I was drunk) me and my mate were completely plastered.
