Glides I think it's time that we had a general look at this thread, It stated of shaky, slowly got a bit of activity although most of the posts were highlighting that this was a bad idea and now we have descended into mainly crap insults and stuff that I'm surprised hasn't got this thread locked. I have been okay actually. I don't really come on NG anymore, I've found the place not that appealing ever since the redesign. However I was drifting away before then, so of course I can't blame the redesign.

It took me a long time to get used to the redesign, as I'm sure most of the members of this thread know. I especially had a problem with the new level icons, I miss he old ones still but I've moved on and there is nothing I can do about them so I might as we just carry on marching slowly towards level 60 (or however high I get).

I guess... I just can't get involved in the flow of the conversation anymore. I've been finding myself lurking a lot more on 4Chan... Woah, yeah I know! But that place is random as hell!

Technically due to the redesign only a couple of months but if you're not classing that then I know what you mean, I remember when I was a few levels below you and now I'm a couple ahead.

I finished High school a good few years ago now and I have to say I remember feeling good when I left. I hated the place and the whole high school way of education which I still say is more about taking kids of the street then teaching them anything. Now that I have been out for a while I do miss certain things though, mainly the friends that I made and haven't seen since. I got a few on Facebook but it's not the same as seeing them everyday. I don't think I have stayed in proper contact with any of my high school chums, which is a sad fact but I'm not the only one. I guess what I'm saying is that it's good to leave high school, it's a hard chapter of your life in many ways but you will miss things after a bit of time has passed. Every exit is a new entrance, I guess.

In some ways I feel like my senior year was a bit of a let down and I didn't feel an ounce of sadness when I stepped through those doors. All my bestfriends are older and thus graduated last year so I didn't get to have any of the fun school experiences with them. I had some good times this year, but now I am glad that I will only have to spend time with the people that I want to.

I'm not somebody who cares about how many posts I have anymore. I got over 1,000 in the first year of my account but then I slowly but surely stopped caring and slowed down on the amount of posts I got per day. Now I just post when I think that I could add something or the thread seems fun. Like most people here though, to get to 10,000 would be an achievement.

Hmmmm, I doubt that the staff would care if the author responds to reviews or not. The fact that he spends probably the smallest amount of time on here just to respond to reviews says nothing other then he probably uses flash tutorials too much to create something truly generic.

Well the portal seems to be bursting with under judgement flashes at the moment, I wonder if it is anything to do with the fact that it is Friday. I've also throught that since the redesign it has taken a longer time for an under judgement flash to get saved or blammed, does anybody know if the amount of votes needed or however it is done has changed?

I've been here before the portal was user submitted work, Tom had to individually put things up.

I had never even heard of such a time before you just mentioned it. Then again I did join up in '10 so compared to most I still haven't been around for that long. Now that I think of it I joined up at an older age then most users, joining when I was 18.
