I'm no good with tablets myself, I always draw with mouse when it comes to using digital methods of drawing. I could just never get used to them.
The biggest problem I have is the line work/inking.
Again it's something that I struggle with. I usually try and re do the lines with the brush tool on flash to give it a cartoony feel but thats more a style that I'm used to.

Your use of the word "attempted" suggests that this is a technique that you are not used to. If this is the case then you have done brilliantly. Although I'd like to see what it'd look like with the faintest bit of colour. Maybe colouring it with a quite lower opacity so that it keeps those tones of grey.
I quite like the way this is looking so far. :3 (huge thing for me, I HATE everything i do haha)
You should like it. It's an improvement on your previous work :).

It basically selects shapes automatically for you. Depending on the software you are using it can be slightly different. But the basics are 1. click the tool, 2. click the thing you want to select, 3. if it has found what you want go to cut and it'll cut it out so it can be pasted onto the T-shirt. If it hasn't got what you wanted you have to change the tolerance level, more if it has selected too little of the image and lower it if it has selected too much.
Hope that helped.
I was talking about Slender Man only before. I have never played the game and knew little about it so was looking through Youtube and what not to see what all the fuss was about and came arcoss this hilarious documentary. A combo of crap acting and hilariously fake sightings make it a great watch, enjoy.

Not bad although you could have used a simple drawing program like paint and cu out that purple around the edge of the face. In paint this'd be easist done buy just drawing over it in the same colour as the T-shirt. With more advance programs you could of used the magic wand tool.

I agrre that the forums will never have an extremely large number of users online at any given time again, for the foreseeable future anyway but Tom is still posting quite a bit. Seeing a Sh0T-D0wN post is much, much rarer

Well, I think what the majority of the Newgrounds users would say has been expressed here. Really, in the greater scheme of things who gives a shit? We are probably all just wasting are lives by comin' back on here to see what others have posted. I say this though I know full well that this is probably just the first in a few posts that'll happen today.

I know, even though mine was rejected I'd still like to see this get made. As far as I'm aware all of the entries are finished so it's just putting it together. Is it still Spags that's doing that?
Level 45! I have no idea what it is even meant to be. Seriously, does anybody have any ideas. I haven't got a clue. Some spike ball thing with blood at the bottom? I just don't like it because I don't know what it's meant to be.

a minute agao I left the portal for a few seconds and when I went back there was 4 new flashes so it's not shockingly slow but I know what you mean. Compared to the '10 Clock Day the past two have been distinctly slow.

I've always been a big fan of Smashing Punpkins - Landslide but not many people seem to rate it because it's a cover and I don't think they play it live very often. Then again they don't tour very often so hell only knows.

To be fair I think that SpongeBob is about as dated and fresh as Clock Day is seeming. Still a bit of a guilt pleasure though, and this one doesn't make you look too much like someone who shouldn't be aloud around kids.
HAPPY CLOCK DAY EVERYONE!!!

It's a personal choice, whatever you feel most comfortable with. I always use mouse to draw but that's because I find tablets to be a bit of an over complication and fidderly to use. Then again i didn't really give them much of a chance when I first tried them. Like I said it's up to you but if you not used a tablet before it does take a little bit of time to get used to them.
All of a sudden, my love for drawing random stuff has been rekindled.
That's good, I always think that it's a good idea to chill out and draw.

Not expecting a masterpiece mate, just an incite into what you can do. It's just designing a T-shirt, not painting a self portrait. You'll do fine.

Man even if we do it's going to be so hard to stopit. Just the amount of people who admit thaty they mass 5 on Clock Day is enough to keep almost everything. Really it's just the luck of catching it and then also being lucky that not a lot of people have just 5ed it for the lols.

I'm going nothing this yeah but was thinking of creating a clock alt and making something for Clock day '13. I'm yet to make my mind up on that one though.
Here you go.
Indeed we do. It's a couple of hours in now and it has to be said that there is some good stuff. I was particularly fond of this:
A music video of the song Hung My Head by Johnny Cash
Just thought it was a cool idea.
Also, if you want to, you could laugh at the poor souls trying to blam on Clock Day (Can't blame them for trying though).
Hey, I've been voting fairly. True I know in my head that half of the stuff that really shouldn't get through because it is just too crap will but meh. I wonder how many blam points I'll get today? I bet that it's at least one.

You should, it's always good to practice with such things in my opinion the ability to draw is a good thing to have and it only really comes with a lot of practice. I just like having a drawing that I can be proud of at the end.

I don't think you quite understand. We are posting links to gamegrow and other games/movies that brake the rules so that people are aware and also because due to the whistle system currently being down all we can do is vote 0 and inform others. So it can't really be classed as old news.

Everybody can draw, even if it is just simple shapes.

I put a link to a template on the opening post of this thread, just download it and then draw on top is the simplest way. alternately you can make a PNG file which will have a transparent background and just paste it on top :).
I'm surprised people are only just finding this out. I heard of it a few months back. Although I heard that Murray would play a small, basically cameo role in the movie. Either way I think I'll give it a miss. The first one was ok but that is as far as me and Ghostbusters will ever go.

What happened to all the sig makers in this thread? It seems to be just a group of people requesting and then, may7be if you're lucky one person with give it a go. I remember when I first requested a sig I got one back in a couple of minutes and ended up with around 4 to choose from. The activity has well and truly gone from this place.
