So you're implying that just because the person can't feel or think or do things that you can, its automaticly considered less than human and that your life is more valuable, better sort out your priorities dude.
Can the fetus think, write, or contribute anything to society? Can it hold a job, clean a highway, or flip burgers? No. But an adult can. If you way the individual value of each life at that moment and how it pertains to society, then of course the adult's life is more valuable.
Its not that you can't kill anyone, its that it is wrong to do so, and if you have a problem with that then I guess its no problem if I find out where you live and murder you, its eyeopening to see things from the other side isn't it, though an undeveloped child may not be able to feel or think its still a human being and it is murder to kill it (I've already explained why)
It's not murder, otherwise it wouldn't be legal. Murder is when one human kills another. Since a baby is not legally human at the time of abortion, it's not murder. Just like it's not murder to shoot a deer, although it has higher mental and physical capabilities than a fetus.
And the thing where I can turn it back you in saying, "what if your mother wanted to abort you?" Obviously you would take the "I wouldn't give a shit", and you would confirm the belief that you have absolutely no value for your own life either, in which there is really no point in talking to you because you'll probably be dead tomorrow by walking out into traffic because you don't care.
If a mother wanted to abort their child, then there's nothing the child can do about it. So, I wouldn't see any point to getting worked up about it.
So if you value your own life, maybe you're just a selfish bastard who values himself over everyone else, I expect a very hypocritical reply from you, you should tell me what kind of person you really are so I don't have to list the possibilities.
A person's life is their life, of course they value it over others. Are you telling everyone that if someone held a gun to you and some random person's head, and told you if you didn't die then he/she would, don't tell me you would be the selfless hero and willingly kill yourself.
Do you value your life?
Do you value the lives of others freinds/family,others?
If you answered yes to both then you should understand me.
No, because life is life. There's plenty of it, and whether one person dies or not is inconsequential. Of course someone would care if their parents died, but over time they would get over it.
