Some more of my early voice work was for Helgen Reborn.
I almost wish I could redo these.
Kristal Audio Engine is also a good program for recording. It's free and I've never had it crash on me while recording, something I can't say about Audacity. It also automatically saves files once you tell it to stop recording so if it does crash, you still have the last file you recorded.
I still use Audacity for editing since Kristal's stuff is way more in-depth than I know how to handle.
Check it out peeps: http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/index.php?section=download
I don't have a Reel but recorded this demo a month or so back:

I'm up for just about any project. Contact me if you are interested in working together.

Ever since Gamma Bros, I've been really impressed by these guys as game developers. They definitely deserve more followers and they deserve to hit their Kickstarter goal.
I got the chance to Interview Miles Tilmann & Rich Grilotti from PixelJam about their Kickstarter. We talked about what all can be expected from Dino Run 2 as well as a brief history of PixelJam itself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fH82a1LE2eQ
Big Congrats to Maxwell Atoms for a successful Kickstarter. I’ve decided that, in order to focus my efforts to raise awareness of projects, I will only promote one Kickstarter at a time. Since the campaign for Dead Meat is now over, that means New Interview Time.
This time I got the chance to interview Miles Tilmann & Rich Grilotti from PixelJAM about their Kickstarter for Dino Run 2, a sequel to the smash hit flash game.

Interview with TV show creator Maxwell Atoms, creator of The Gr¦m Adventures of Billy and Mandy, about his Kickstarter for Dead Meat, a black humor puppet comedy web series, Dead Meat.
I got the chance to interview Jay (Zeebarf) Ziebarth about his KickStarter for The Ballads of Reemus 2. Some of you may recognize him from his many flash point and click adventure games such as "The Visitor" and his "Journey's of Reemus" series. In the interview we talk about the game, the KickStarter, as well as what made Jay want to make games in the first place.

What is Cracking everybody. I am Megapieman and this thread is to tell the world about Jump Start, a show I do on my channel where I help promote Indie game Kickstarter Campaigns. I do so by either having a short overview of the games demo, if available, or by interviewing the developer(s) themselves about their project. Below are links to the different episodes of the show and I'll be sure to update this post as more are released. Keep in mind that some of these Kickstarter projects may already be over but you can still get an idea for the games they were making so you can look for them in the future.

Got some time to record some lines for this. Looking through what people had already voice acted for I noticed some lines where more popular than others so recorded each one person part and the male lines of 2 multiple people parts to make sure that as many parts as possible had at least one recording. Some of the parts have multiple takes. Let me know what you think.
I have some ideas for a flash series baised around Klei Entertainment's game Don't Starve. I was able to make a test animation myself to figure out how I want to do things and how things will look but I need help to move into the full series.
Test Animation: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/608768
*What Do I Need?*
I need an artist who can draw in the Don't Starve style. As you can see from the test animation the theme is to make it look like a stick puppet theater. Like someone printed the pictures out, cut them out, and glued them onto a Popsicle stick. The test was made with assets of the game that I photoshopped out of screenshots so things aren't smooth and are sometimes pixilated. In order to fix this and to do things that arn't within the game itself I need someone who can draw the assets for me. I will then use the assets how I used the photophopped game assets.
I also need someone who is open to work on the project and not busy with other things.
The only cash I can offer for this project is a share in ad revenue.

I had some insomnia a while back and wrote this up.
Snail
- Geoff was your average snail. He lived in a garden and loved doing all the things snails do. He loved sleeping in his shell, slinking around the garden, nibbling on whatever plants he found interesting. One thing he loved most was sliding over to the northern most part of the garden to hear Penelope the blue bird sing. Everything was going wonderfully for Geoff.
- One day Geoff slithered over to his favorite sleeping spot in the garden, right under a daffodil, and nodded off to sleep. He was dreaming of having wings like the birds he sees sitting in the trees around his home. Dreamed of soaring through the clouds and through the rainbows, just as he imagined birds would do. Suddenly though, Geoff jumped awake after hearing a strange sound. He felt strangely hot and decided to look around. Emerging from under the daffodil Geoff was met with the most horrible sight he had ever seen.
- The garden was ablaze, Red and orange flames licked and twisted their way through his home. Scared and horrified Geoff stayed in one spot cowering in fear and unbelief. A few sparks rained down and landed on his tail causing Geoff to snap back to reality. He looked back at his favorite sleeping spot only to see that it too was burning away in the melting blaze. Animals and other creatures scampered all around him yelling and screaming as they attempted to escape the fires wicked tongue. Close friends and acquaintances burned to death as their image burned into GeoffâEUTMs eyes and memories. Knowing he was surrounded and very alone Geoff slugged over to a nearby rock, curled in his shell, and tried to block out the screams.
- Awaking several hours later Geoff looked around at his long time home. The garden had become a deep, black scar on the face of the earth. The only thing that Geoff could recognize was the rock he took shelter near. He looked around with his snail eyes at all everything he once knew was just gone. If only Geoff had snail eyes too look around with instead of the tired eyes of an old man, if only Geoff was an innocent snail instead of a human down on his luck, if only the garden wasnâEUTMt a city, if only the fire wasnâEUTMt caused by the lack of care for life, and if only the deep black scar only ran its message of pure hatred was a small patch of earth instead of the withered soul of humanity itself.

I have attempted to do both with little to no success. Code dosn't make sense to me, I have been drawing for years but I'm not any good at it. Ideas, storys, and a bit of voice acting are what I can bring to the table. I don't care about cash I just want to make games, see my ideas and storys come to life, but to do that I need help. Money is nice but mostly I just want to make games.

I could care less about my cut, I just want to make a game for people to play and enjoy.
At 4/22/12 04:38 PM, Javacke wrote: maybe it would be better if u actually had a serious part in this, while other people are doing art music and programming you'll be there making the story?
dont take me wrong i do think this is a good and i would volenteer for art but i dont think anybody else would
want to join
Thats what I said before. I would write it. I need a team to work with for art and programing since I can't do that. I would take care or writeing the story, createing the concept for the layout of the levels, figureing out how things would work. I would then tell the group this infermation so they can bring it to life.
I'm looking for a team consisting of a artist and a programmer for a cinematic platform game. If you don't know what a cinematic platformer is, it is a platform game that focuses on art and atmosphere, think games like the original Prince of Persia and Limbo.
What will I be doing?
Well I'm mostly an Ideas guy. I will be writing the story for the game, making the layout of it. I also do a bit of voice acting and will be taking care of that part in the game.
What will the game be about?
The game is going to be biased on singularity. I'm not going to reveal everything here but the majority of the game will revolve around singularity so if you want to work on this project be prepared.
Payment?
Anyone in the team will get an equal % of any revenue made off of ads after the game is out. That's the best I can do.
What am I looking for?
I'm looking for people who have mostly open schedules and are not only willing to work on the project, but with each other. While I plan on writing and making the ideas for the game just about everything is subject to change. That means I'm looking for people to bounce ideas off of, tell me something sucks if it sucks, and help mold the game into something that everyone can enjoy. If interested please leave a comment below and I will contact you, or send me a pm so I can check out your stuff.
Do You cook?
I dabble in the culinary arts from time to time. Nothing too spectacular but given the right ingredients and recipe I can make something edible.
What's your favorite number?
Plaid.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO IN IT ?!
Write, concept, voice act, layout, things like that.
I'm looking for a team consisting of a programmer, artist, and maybe musician, for a turn based rpg game. The hope is for the game to be out by Halloween so I'm looking for people with open schedules. If interested please send me a pm or leave a message here.
Thanks.
I am in the process of collecting a team of talented individuals to work on a game cleverly titled Lobsters Stole My Trousers. It will be a basic platform game that will focus on fun and creativity over everything else. So far the team consits of a Programer, Musician, and writer/voice actor. Unfortunitly the Artist who was origonaly going to work with us is busy with graduation and I need to find someone with more time on their hands.
The consept of the game is simple, Lobsters Steal Your Trousers forcing you to go through 5 or so levels and fight a boss to get them back. The game is a small project. The biggest issue here is that our programer has March to work on the game due to being off from class so March was when we want to make the game (I know it is short notice). Please leave a post below telling of your interest in the project, also include links to what you consider your best or most fun and creative submissions here on NG so I have something to base any dicisions I make on.
If you are chosen to work on the game you will not only get my undieing gratitude but also a fair 1/4th of any revenue earned from ads.
Requirements:
-You can do better art the the pic below
-You are creative
-You have time to dedicate to this project
-You are reliable
Below is a quick concept pic I did, The Final Game Should Look Better Than It:

At 17 hours ago, skyood wrote: PS: How attached are you to the whole banjo/fiddle/honkey tonk orchestration?
Not too attached, it was mostly an example to show that the music should be more fun and creative. It is compleatly up to whoever makes it as to what they want specificly. If someone is interested, send me a pm and I will tell you the level themes.
At 7 hours ago, RampantMusik wrote: I should be able to whip up a demo track this weekend if you're interested?

Well, it is a Newgrounds game so you will get credited and 1/4 of any money made off of ads. There are 3 main areas that will share the same music, a boss track, and a main theme to total 5 songs. The rights belong to who ever makes the music and will hopfuly post the songs on NG so any copywrite information is the same as NG copywrite info.
Anyone. Pretty Please.
I have now made a post on the audio forum looking for a musician. Here is a link for any of you who want to fallow the happenings there.
Yes I realize I spelled musician wrong but alas, you can't edit these posts to my knowledge after you post them so I can't fix it.
Looking for an Musicion to work on a basic platform game that will be Titled "Lobsters Stole My Trousers" It will be about a guy chasing and fighting Lobsters who went into his house and stole his favorite pair of trousers. If you are interested please post a link to some examples of your music below so I can see if you are right for the game.
This game will focus on being fun over anything else, nothing too serious. An example of sound we are looking for would me music similar to that found in the Rayman Origins soundtrack, here is an example song from that soundtrack so you have an idea:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEQqH5jGz8k
Our programer wont be available to work on the game till march so I have till then to find both an artist and a musiction. I have already receaved some interest on the art front so thought it was time to start on music. Here is a link to the art thread if you want to fallow the happenings there:

Your stuff is realy good. I'll make sure to show it to the programer and see what he thinks. Have till march to see if anyone else is interested. If no one else applys and you are still interested at that time then I would be happy to work with you.
