Are you saying you add and remove event listeners every frame?

i know this is real late but I only just got back from France so anyway 2 A*, 5 A's 2 B's. I was actually disappointed. :(

It was one of those movies with a great concept that I didn't think made the most out of it, im not saying it wasn't good, i just think there was more potential, such is also true with movies like "The Invention of Lying"
Really, I thought that crafted a masterpiece. it was no way near my favourite but the perfection of the story and how intricately it was done was brilliant. It seems that if they pushed the concept too far then the plot would have broken down, but I don't know...
How do you reckon they could've made more use of the concept?
Inception
I know this is real late but I only just saw the film. So what did you guys think of Inception?
Also did the Bot War ever happen?

Please tell me this is some sort of inside UK joke.
I kept wishing for the ghost of Freddie Mercury to run the lot of these chavs up the chocolate highway. Fuck's sake. You know you're in trouble when Vanilla Ice is the most credible performer on the stage. Yikes.
That song got second in the UK charts. Those people came 4th in X factor (The British version of American Idol).

Don't know if you guys have seen this but it looks pretty cool.
The first game I played was Mega Bomberman on the Sega. The first computer game I played would probably have to be Speedy Eggbert.

well what do you want to do with it ... ? Do you play any games? which ones? do you want to play any new games in the future? do you want to play valve games, or cryengine games?
An all rounder preferably. I do a mixture of things. A bit of gaming (I've never cared for graphics quality though), a bit of various sorts of design, some photoshop. Lots of web browsing. Yeah that's about all I do.
So while you lot argue about what x86-64 means does anyone else know any computers?
@FunkyCaveman - It's pretty good but as said I'd be wasting money. Thanks though. :)
Desktops
Can any of you guys recommend any good desktops for under £500?

Looming
So looming. Any of you guys played it? If so what do you think?
Please don't spoil the end ing for those that haven't completed it. Like moi. :(

You divided by zero when factorising.
If...
kx^k = k
...then divide by x...
x^k = 1
...log_x...
x = 0
...but does this contradict because when we divided by k we divided by 0? So what's k equal to?
Note k is a constant and x is a variable.

Won't take long.
Can I do it then?

I'm also liking Jazz and Celtic at the moment if that helps.
Blit and use the shape class if you need vectors. CacheAsBitmap, if you have to use filters, use them sparingly. Stuff like that.

It's just so...beautiful. :(
I'll have a go. What's the timeframe?
Is it bad i like Grindcore?
Time for maths jokes. Let's get this started.
Why are lumberjacks good at maths?
Because they use their logs.
Why did the chicken cross the mobius strip?
To get to the same side.
Why did the triangle go to the beach?
Cos he wanted a sin tan.
What you're doing is every time you call gotoAndStop it resets the frame. So the moviclip with jumping inside can never advance. Try...
if(mc.curentFrame != 5)
{
mc.gotoAndStop(5);
}
That crap, you know.

Saw the first half, which you didn't really see much of the timelords. Was away over New Year. :(
Anyway websites which show Dr Who on?

No seriously, I was hoping the exact same thing earlier. Either him or Rassilon.
Basically it all comes down to making a game which you want.
If you have an original idea, do it.
If you have a perfect idea, do it.
If you have an artsy idea, do it.
As someone said already do your ideas. Everyone has them. They may not always be super innovative but not everyone can. Also learn to be creative. Since doing maths maybe you've stopped spending as much time being creative. Go and do an hour of something creative a day. It'll help a lot.

Just watched yesterday's Dr Who. So what did you guys think?
That was my favourite part. I like a story line that carries on through another season. It stops the whole running out of ideas thing so they have to bring every single baddie aver to the same place then end all existence that ever happened and all those people you thought were dead are back and insurmountable odds are...surmounted.
It's a real word I swear.
MC is a movieclip. HUD is basically everything like a health bar, score count etc.
Sorry.
