Newgrounds.com — Everything, By Everyone.

Been at this for almost a month now. I CANNOT figure out how to make different frames. When i watch a vid or something on newgrounds/you tube it says to hit 'F7 or F8' and it moves to the next frame. What that does on my flash is not make the image gray where i can move the object, but it makes it plain and blank. What am i doing wrong? Nothing is working...

*Ive looked at the tutorials on here and it is no help

Could someone possibly point me in the right direction?

Oh btw im using Flash 8, and ANY help would be very helpful.

Been trying to do some of the tutorials on the NG site, but none of them seem to help.

They refer to do a step on maybe the old flash versions(?) and i cant seem to figure it out...

Does anyone know a good step by step flash on NG that could help me? I just cant seem to do it...

Hello Everyone!

I just recently got flash roughly about a week ago and i was real curious if anyone could steer, point or kick me in the right direction on how to make a good animation. (or possibly tips)

I have the artistic talent for anime. I currently have my own 'comic' which I hate and i want to make it a cartoon (which is why i like newgrounds and flash). Music is not a problem, i have a good selection for what i want.

Im looking for specs, does 25 fps sound good or is that too much?

Also what are some good do's and dont's for animation?

Im no magician with my mouse, how does the behemoth make such smooth graphics? With a pen?
