I've seen the Japanese pokemon, and it's just as kiddy-ish as the English version.
They used to censor the first 10 episodes, but now there's nothing to censor out. It's all clean.

I still play the games, even though the show sucks.

I'd play it if it was just okay.
Sometimes a games flaws can be a bit disapointing.

Take Super paper Mario for example, it's a great game but it was disapointing that is wasn't an RPG, the partners ("pixels") looked simple and unimaginative.

What I'm about to say might sound nerdy, but my fav so far is Diamond.

The only thing I hate about it is that whenever you're looking to trade over Wi-Fi with someone, they only want Lv. 100, or Below Lv. 9 pokemon.

I'm not gonna give you a Lv. 100 Deoxys for a Lv. 1 Munchlax.
A Machamp Below Lv. 9 isn't really possible
