Hey whats up?
i thought i could make a acrade/reference game.
but i need a programer and someone to make the music (and maybe some help with lvls.) I'll make the art.
Theres an exaple here
and an exaple of the process of dying here(check the pic above.):
(note if the pod is distuyed then you atuomaticly die)
so if you are ready to help post below but i will test programers before there in.
i have alot of ideas but ill pm them to you instade of getting them stolen here.

Hey can i make the preloader and menu (as3 only!) its my thing also i might make something for the collab maybe a small animation. ill take the title animate the ? in the background and make a good looking preloader.

well i dont whant to fully join the project yet but give me some grafics and ill try to make a demo.

oh... yay my internets bin down for a while so i just got your messege im gessing i cant be in the collab if its this late in but if i can still come in can you send me a link to the sounds?(im gessing that i cant pick a sound by now.)

sorry i haven't replied for a while boarding school is killing me >_< any way i mannaged to find extra time so now i can get to work so ill do the intro (like i sayed before) and ill take the macho man idea ^_^ (you where high when you thought that one up whernt you?) also i have an amazing menu if you guys whant (maby for the next one .)
any way i also thing that is i convert the intro to a video then back to a flash i could make the file size much smaller( if i go from video to flash it will be like a frame by frame animation)

Depends, are you talking about your new one or the Shoop Da Whoop one?

Well the shoop da whoop is out and I'm updating the earth but a collab intro shouldent be any longer (when I say collab intro I meen it's shoud before the menu and the after wourd the logo and then you get to the menu but I think the max it will be is 35 sec) if not I will make a full part.

It's not that..."Shoop Da Poop" is really overused and cliche.
Your scenery looks great but I really don't want memes used at ALL in this collab.

The filesize is quite big, so I don't think it would fit as an Easter Egg.

I really recommend that you think up something else for your part. Maybe one of Gustavos's suggestions?

As for your school network blocking thing...try... snakepocket.com, stealthme.info, schoolhook.info etc. Snakepocket will be the most likely one to work.

If this is nice then i think you'll love the finished version!(if i can get flash to start again)
the glow adds a realistic feel so its kinda hard to just lose it but i think that
if i remake the glow in gimp and add it to the earth instead of the filter it might stop lagging.
Any way have a update if anyone is doing a shot of the earth in there swf make shore its
note modern earth.... try to make it look more like Pangaea(look it up on google)
also if any one has a vector map or a normal map of Pangaea that looks real(like google's april fools joke in google earth where the earth became Pangaea when at 380000 miles)
tell me cus im going to make a victor map of pangea if there isn't one yet...

Well that depends on what you mean.
If realistic means claymation or live-action, that's a big no-no.

so here are some glitches and other things to expect:
1:the world is spinning but loops back.
2:the background is not updated
3:the animation loops
4:you will hear odd sounds in the beginning
5:the glow around the earth is of by about 10px
6:you will not get to see the full animation
7:the animation is really only 30-40 sec
8:for some reason you might hear someone say roflcopter at the beginning
9:the moon is missing
10:the earth seems pixelated
There are more but what ever any way here's the messed up preview(I'm redoing as soon as i get
flash to start working again.):Here
Also if you know where i can get a normal space background tell me cus i looked thru about 237
pages yesterday.
