No shit Sherlock, I USE photoshop, I know what it can do and be used for.
Keep in mind that it is called PHOTOshop, it is a PHOTO editing program.
Everything in PS is intended for photos, some just also happen to be useful for drawing such as brushes and the like.

Response to: just a quick doodle Posted February 27th, 2010 in Art

Lens flare and lighting filter does not equal shading.
Those are for PHOTOS, cause it's PHOTOshop, it wasn't made for drawing, despite the fact it works very well, it is intended for photo editing.

Oh, and by the way! ANYONE can do bad spelling! Even a "Troll" like me!

Yes but there's a difference between insulting people while sound like a complete and utter retard, and insulting people and doing it with dignity.

It's taken you five years to get on this site? I had no idea it was that hard to fill out an application... And so far, you're doing a pretty good job of making yourself a joke, or have you not noticed everyone's posts?

I do not approve of this digital bashing
It is not the tool that makes the artist, digital art takes just as much practice as any other medium, if someone draws like shit on paper, they are going to draw like shit on a computer (worse usually).
Don't lose respect for someone on what medium they use, lose respect for how they use it or their attitude.

There is a fine line between stylized and ill-proportioned. The castle crashers follow basic anatomy, everything goes where it should just in a smaller size, yours has the bone structure of a giant who's crotch a couple inches too low

2.the light is all around him but i dont want to spoil the suprise of what the wartorn backround will look like

lazy excuse, there is ALWAYS a defined light source, and to get this kinda of indirect shading, you need spot lights all over him.

3.im asking about art not spelling

It doesn't mean you don't need to improve on it.

4.the arm is in normal position

what BMK said.
This IS probably one of the best pieces I'v seen you do, however its still nothing to throw a parade about, especially if it isn't finished.
