Response to: How does one get recognized? Posted May 1st, 2010 in Art

Well you pretty much answered your own question, you aren't as popular as you'd like to be because you aren't that good.
There are so many artists around now because of the internet, you have to be really fantastic at what you do to get noticed, and even than there's a lot of luck in it. The only sure fire way is to get your self out there and improve your quality of work, as you get better, more people will like it. As you socialize with different people, they will discover your work.

Welp, STILL nothing from jeeshwa, so taking things into my own hands.
Doing line art in flash this time, really thin, hopefully I can work out what I'm trying to work out.
For the release of the new Iron man movie (may 2nd, may 7th, same thing, they both start with S)
Well, it's pretty self explanatory.

Nope

I hate how suspiciously paranoid being an artist online has made me, but always better safe than sorry, for all involved.

This guy'sstuff is really good
Contacted him on his deviantart, waiting on his reply whether or not they are the same person

Response to: Art Portal Patrol Posted April 30th, 2010 in Clubs & Crews

This is obviously stolen, I can give you the link to the orinigal but i think his other work speaks for itself.

Response to: One of my Art pieces Posted April 30th, 2010 in Art

No but it is very annoying, do you go the a museum or look at other peoples stuff sideways? Well you could but it's very rare you have to.
There are a couple of posts telling you how to do this in your thread but for the sake of convenience.
1. Open up MS paint.
2. File, open, select the image you want.
3. Click edit, go to rotate image, rotate 90 CCW
4. file, save
5. Post it here.

God damn it, there's another one.
However this gives credits, but that doesn't mean he got permission, seeing as I'm pretty sure some of these people do have youtube accounts

Response to: Art Forum Lounge Posted April 30th, 2010 in Art

I just stumbled upon this on youtube, a whole bunch of (mostly from the front page) ng flashes on a youtube channel, with no credits given, just a link to newgrounds.
Who should I contact to get this settled with?

Isn't that trolling though

No as in I went into a chat once, did nothing, and was called a troll.

Which is why I said when dicking around this is all well and good, but go flaunting it and you look like an idiot.

Note to self, do not scan big things in as gifs, they will fuck up...
Though for a fuck up, the texture did come out rather neat.

I used to do this all the time, it's alright for dicking around but it's not really something to flaunt.

Response to: Criticize my graffiti! Posted April 29th, 2010 in Art

As in most people are not on until 3ish at the earliest.

It's pretty standard, not much going on with it but it's bold and above all, I can tell what it says right off the bat.

Response to: Gumbys Hideout Posted April 29th, 2010 in Art

Gumby, I'd suggest turning up the framerate if you're gonna do animations, I don't know how graphicsgale does it's rates, but in PS I like to use .1, .2 seems to slow(only 5 fps) and instant seems to fast.
IMO

I tend to just make folders for everything, if I need a lot of separate layers for shading, shading folder, color folder etc etc.

Response to: Outline magic ART Posted April 27th, 2010 in Art

I don't entirely understand why you make such a specific thread for something, do a picture for it, and than, in the very next post, you talk about something COMPLETELY unrelated.
You do this in ALL your threads.
Death art-starting image was a dragon and than a superhero.
This-magic and than you talk about death tree's.
Don't pick such constricting topics if you yourself are just going to go against them anyway.

Never merge layers at all really, there's no point unless it's something that goes together, I.E. Line art merged with more lineart, ect.
