Research all you want, you won't get significantly better until you apply what you learn, over and over and over and over and find out what works, what doesn't and why.
And don't just research anime, which is what I'm assuming you are doing, hence the title, look up tutorials on shading, colors, how to use them, and draw from life.

Though the point kinda stands, I can respect that you wanna do things how you wanna do them, but doing your own thing when it negatively effects your comic is kinda self destructive.

Having a huge splash page every other page is not good*

3 things bugging me
1. Your pages are really poorly thought out, lots of empty space, you want to fit as much information into each page as possible, having a huge splash page is not a good thing to do, and the text is everywhere and it effects the reading and fluidity

2. These are pretty sketchy, I'd give'm another go around with darker marks and less random strokes

3. Why are you calling this a manga?
I'm sure you aren't japanese or live in japan, it reads from left to right and this is a very not anime style.

I'm genuinely out of ideas, however, if it's only 2 months old, it should still be under the manufacturer's warranty/any warranty you may have purchased when you bought it, so if it is busted, a replacement shouldn't be too difficult to get, no matter how inconvenient.

Alright then, question 2, does the graphics card you have installed now have enough power to run the tablet properly?
It's either something to do with graphics providers or your tablets fucking up in some way

Cloudy, for the most part we aren't talking about doodles, doodles come a lot more naturally cause you don't really think about them. It's usually the bigger stuff when people bitch about no ideas.

I'm probably not going to be around tomorrow, and even more likely not at 6, so I'll be sitting this one out unfortunately

I would be much more interested in smaller things, like single character commissions or small group things, you know, commission stuff.

what most people here would probably consider commission stuff at least.

My only concern would be reliability with payment, something that I've seen as pretty common place is half before the commission, half after, or all at the start, to avoid getting shafted.

I think the biggest problem is the fact that most people are asking for full game art or partial game art.
I think if they were smaller, part time things more people would want to do them

So in other news i just installed my tablet on my laptop.
Question, for windows 7, I did it before but I totally forget.
How the fuck do I get rid of this fucking ripple when I click. I got rid of the obnoxious hold and click menu but i cant fix this ripple crap.

I agree 100%, the one image only per post has always been incredibly inconvenient.
The flash forum has a code engine, why not an image engine for the art forum?
