Things would look a lot different if there was only 1 single company that dominated the console market, for a start they would have a much higher price tag on their machines and games, as there would be no-one to compete with for sales/value and then expensive research into new technology wouldn't be in such high demand and things would just lie stagnant.

Competition is the main reason companies keep prices as they are and bring out new ideas to grab your attention, without competition there would be no progress (well, not progress at a very fast pace anyway), just ignorant control.

I have it on DVD, not watched it yet though... I'll get round to it at some point.

I enjoyed the demo, but with such a great line up of games in Q1 & Q2 of this year It's just not worth it IMO. It is a good game though and they should've released it at a quieter time and it would've sold more.

Nope, I wouldn't say it's made me want the game any more than I did, and making a no time limit on the free skate in a small location wouldn't effect sales as anyone who is happy with just playing a tiny free skate isn't going to be buying the game anyway. it might of been ok a few years ago, but these days with such great demo's I would expect more.

This better be an EPIC game, it has everything going for it, let's hope they didn't fuck it up.

I think you will find lulu.com is alot more expensive than method shown above.

I personally loved MK VS DC Universe, the visuals and the fighting system were awesome, it's only downfall IMO was the small roster of characters, if it had about twice as many characters I would be one happy bean and it would've been in my top games of the year list.
