I did but that wasnt based as much on artwork as much as what Tom found amusing, the person one spot ahead of me was an MS Paint job of Tom urinating on April if I recall

Congrats to all the winners there was an insane amount of good work this time around I'm, feeling crushed as usual myself, I always hope to get a mention in the honorable mention section or at least some form of criticism. I have a feeling my work is too sloppy or not stylized enough but I really haven't got a clue.
I got so depressed I even tried to resort to drugs and snorted some coke, which is a F**KING BAD IDEA, I opened the can and snorted it up my nose and it stung like a bitch!. I don't know how people can snort Coke its bloody painful, I'm gonna stick to drinking it.

None of you Jerk offs are gonna win anway, ive personally rigged the contest !, you see what many of you dont realise is that each year at comicCon Stamper leaves a sway of ravished teenlets who then later spawn a small baseball team of bastard children. I set up a few years ago a DNA tagging facility to locate and obtain these bastard children.

For the last few years there poor souls have been building me an illfitted mech suit designed to crush the newgrounds team once and for all ! unless I get at least around 4th or 5th place, or at least a few stickers. I think you could have made the left foot a little longer so the heels line-up a little more. Right now the left foot looks a little bit further behind than the right foot, leaving to pose kinda aukward. Also you could have cleaned it up a little more like your Indiana Tom entry.

Yeah, I didnt really know how to do his legs, mainly becuase he is seriously gimped up, in the game has walks like his leg is broken because well hes a zombie so hes kinda all nasty looking.

As for cleaning my Indiana Fulp pic I feel looking at it again was too empty and I tried to give it a more glossy effect using photoshop effects. But I dont really like using effects for somthing that should be drawn, so here I basically just drew it all in as much detail as I could without resorting to filters and such.
I dunno though, my stuff always looks messy, but to be honest I like it like that, I mean its art not graphic design, Im not making a Logo in Illustrator im just drawing and for me that means being messy, but I like it and really thats what matters. Im really just trying to improve on my art becuase ive been so lazy with it for so long, but I feel Ive made huge improvment over time, mainly in my patience, before Id draw for 15 mintues at a time before just giving up and watching a porno or making a sandwhich, or both. But now I can spend more time doing the detail work that I like to do.
Anyway...I dont know why im still speaking, this post is way longer than it needs to be !

The overall idea was to make it look like a more detailed crisper sprite. They definitely shunned the portrait entries this time around.

The Le Chuck you did isn't bad at all, but I prefer LiLg's version since he stuck more to the guidelines.

So far Ive totally followed them as far as I can see just mine is more like a drawing than a computer sprite

What gets me though is the style, Should the characters be clean and look more like a game sprite itself ? like Alien Homonid ? or can it just be a really detailed drawing of the sprite ? my entry would definatly be a bitch to animate so in that sense I would be making it hard on myself. Or is it more based on style ? becuase if we all tried to do the same type what would be the point ?

My wife Tells me that she prefers My Detail in LeChuck but she prefers LilG's clean lines and style. So I dunno, it would be nice if I could draw like everyone else, but I always just look really rough when I draw but then I like it so :P ! ,

Also Im kinda shocked at the number of good entries this month, I think more people are taking notice this time around which is awsome.

Well as far as I am aware these armt like "Official" newgrounds art contests, but more somthing fun for the people who work at newgrounds to do and a way we can all interact and have fun. So though you get the proper "Art Contest" type posts we also just get the weird stuff to do as well. This is after all a community and really you just have to follow the rules from post to post, so whilst One is based on art, another may be based on humour..which..didnt go too well.

How ever I think the only real problem is that no one could know how Tom would judge submissions before hand so the main problem is that we went into it with out own preconseptions of ...wait did I spell that right....crap theres no spell check here...bugger...er where was I . the problem is that we did submissions for a contest using our own notions of how Tom would Judge making the results totally random but understandable.
And this was just one competition, the new one will hopefully be posted soon, hopefully it will be a Draw Stampers perfect Woman competition. That would be sweet

Yeah I use a tablet though depends on what you want to do, I think allot of people like to use illustrator which doesnt need a tablet. I hand draw mine using a tablet I got years and years ago. I do feel ive improved with every contest so far so I cant wait for the next one to see what I can do, should be fun !

Im shocked that Nobbin Robbins ddint get into at least the top 5, it was so well drawn, maybe Tom has bad memories of being cercumsised...I know I do
