Even if some one traces there is still skill involved, any dumb ass can trace a person out, but filling in your own detail work and fleshing out the character is the hard part, Im still working hard on improving my drawing if you looked back at my previous stuff every competition ive improved allot on each one. I just wish I was in the top 5 as the motivation is always awsome when you do well.

I used sylvia saint for my reference, a mistake as I spent 20% of my time drawing and the rest fapping like a fricking rabid monkey hungry for peanuts

In my defense my cover is not just a filtered photoshoped image. i think what throws it off was the fact that i pasted a bearskin rug that was posterized under my female. i did spend 5 to 10 hours painting that female, even though it doesn't look like it. the only other filter on my image is the render cloud in the heavy metal logo.

i have never digital painted before. this was my first attempt to do so. i tried to follow pox's tutorial but it seemed a bit vague. if you enlarge my cover you can still see where there are some outlines left in the image because i didnt know how to make a contrast between some of the body parts to make it look like it would have if i had just traditionally drawn the image.

i am sorry that my digital skills are not as up to par as the rest of yours but at least i can say i tried, even though it appears that i have failed miserably. my cover does stand out horribly compared to the rest of them, but i never expected to even get an honorable mention to begin with, al i wanted to do was to see if i could paint in photoshop.

What throws it off is the bear skin thing, its totally photoshopped, Ive been using photoshop for like 6 or 7 years now, so photograph wise im an expert, but when it comes to physically drawing shit in it gets hard, the trick is to layer every single thing you do. Sketch and outline, colour it in with another layer, Ive tried different ways of doing things but ive found that if you draw over your girl in greyscale, like shadows and lighter areas and blur it out and use a filter you can make it look more like natural shadowing.

My pic before I fucked it up and flattened it was at about 72 Layers, the tank, sand, buildings second row of buildings, sky, logo, second logo filter, hair, eyes, skin, outline, blending, textures, light effects, brick wall, bridge, bricks on ground, clothes, camel toe, second attempt at camel toe, third attempt at camel toe (Im not very good at drawing camel toe) more hair, tights, beauty spots, goggles, belt, belt attachment, angry logo, 4th attempt at camel toe, and some other stuff I cant remember

I think getting photo realism is easy enough, it just takes a bloody long ass time to do, and you need to work on a large scale, I was being an idiot and drawing mine at 700x560 from the start when I should have been drawing larger and just resised afterwards once finished.

I think you needed to bring the girl more into focus as the minator seems you be your central point, how ever its a great action shot which is somthing I always have trouble with, im not very 3D myself though you did a good job on that.

I was pissed off at the end of mine, i went back to do more editing and found out that last night in my tired state I had bloody flatted all my layers and saved my file so I wasnt able to do much other than add to the pic :( most annoying. Some awsome submissions by peeps, my wife loves the girl in the gas mask lol, I dont like it, not becuase its not well drawn becuase its very very well done, I just dont like it becuase it reminds me of pyro from Team Fortress 2, and that kinds turns me off becuase now I think shes a guy :( , sweet ass though !

This is my near finished entry, I figured that the guy who got his dick shot off in tank men probably had a hot wife, there by making his pain worse. Plus he probably had a big dick making it an easy target so now shes all kinda annoyed n shit!

I probably wont be entering this time around, Ive hardly ever used illustrator and im just sitting here getting pissed off with every little part of my image, I figure that I either give up or just try and stop being so critical of every little damn thing. I was trying to do a star wars poster type design but god, illustrator is a bitch to work with! not like my precious precious photoshop!

Anyway, Im currently pain stacke...pain stake...pain steakingly ? ... Im currently working hard on re-creating the Star Wars A New Hope Poster using my own versions of NG characters, Such as Homonid as Luke and Dad as Darth vader and angry face as the death star.
Which leads me to ask should I bother ? seeing as I am technically ripping off by parodying Star Wars and NG and not using original designs just drawing it myself. Is this againts the rules ? or a stupid idea ?

Also an actual question, is there an age restriction on the material ? cause what if you had a tankman saying "Cock Joke!" sure its newgrounds but is it ok ?

Also allot of Americans come on holiday to Canada becuase they get more for their $ , but as that isnt the case anymore we get less tourists, from one point of veiw its good becuase we have less americans here, but on the flip side we dont get thier cash either

I did but that wasnt based as much on artwork as much as what Tom found amusing, the person one spot ahead of me was an MS Paint job of Tom urinating on April if I recall

I have a feeling my work is too sloppy or not stylized enough but I really haven't got a clue.
I got so depressed I even tried to resort to drugs and snorted some coke, which is a F**KING BAD IDEA, I opened the can and snorted it up my nose and it stung like a bitch!. I don't know how people can snort Coke its bloody painful, I'm gonna stick to drinking it.
