I haven't been on newgrounds for months and the layout has changed completely. Where can I find the 'adult' games?

I'm allready a relatively good artist, but I completely fail at animation. I've found all the available tutorials on newgrounds but they don't show you much beyond animating shapes. Does anyone know of any top quality, easy to follow tutorials? I love to put out some quality flash games for everyone!

I'm not an expert in this field, but I've certainly used alot of different software's to be able to recommend at least a few to the people who continuously ask which software's are good to create songs.

This is all from my experience, so if you don't agree, tough luck, I'm only putting fourth my ideas.

- I recommend having a good synth player / an instrument to record with
- Different Software's Include:
- Cubase Studio 4
- Cubase Studio 5 Pro
- Studio ONE
- Cebiellus
- If your lucky enough to have a Mac: Logic Express Pro 10
- Pro Tools LE

All of these software's work great, and all have alot of similarities and differences. If your looking for something simple that's easy to use to get you started, I recommend Cubase as the interface is rather plain and simple, However don't expect 'Mozart', 'Iron Maiden' or 'Dr Dre' quality tracks using this!
Next, for the more talented or already slightly experienced, either logic express, an apple made product, or pro tools LE are great. Slightly more advanced and confusing, but work very very well, and can easily get studio quality tracks if you have the right equipment.

Really? I wouldn't go that harsh on console gamers. I'm one myself, but I'm buying a new PC this eek which I hope to do the majority of my gaming on, AND I'm getting skyrim on PC. We don't need to turn this thread into yet another internet console war do we? ;)

Thanks alot dude! I'm not too bad at drawing as it is, I'm taking a graphics GCSE at school at the moment, so sketches and detailed drawing are my kind of thing. Thanks for the tablet idea, I really should get one, and with my new PC I'm getting a tablet could come in handy!

Just a quick question to anyone thats experienced or knows a fare bit about animating in flash. How did you start off? What tutorials did you follow? It's quite frustrating for me because I know simple basics like animating shapes, creating objects, motion and shape tween, but they seem to be the only things that tutorials cover? It would be sweet if you could help because otherwise I've bought adobe flash for nothing!

If your looking for something relatively simple that's made specifically for newgrounds, try Game Maker 2 I think its called. Averts everywhere on newgrounds, it even has its own forum thread.

I do alot of anime / hentai still pictures. Are they allowed to be posted to newgrounds?
