Guys, this may be a noobish question but anyhow..

I was looking around today for an HDTV and saw a few 720p and 1080p tv's. Now what came to my shock was that I saw a 720p Samsung Tv at $500 and it looked beautiful. The picture was amazing, high quality compared to the 1080p tv's. Aren't 1080p tv's suppose to be better than 720p? Well I did some research on the internet and I couldn't find any video or site that compared 720p and 1080p and made me think that I should get a more expensive tv that would be 1080p compared to that Samsung.

I never had an HDTV before. I have like 3 of those big cube televisions which are huge and weigh a ton. But anyhow, enough about that. I'm hoping I can get an HDTV before MW2 is officially out. So that when I pickup my pre-ordered copy of the game, the quality of MW2 will amaze me.

So if someone could answer me on whether 720p is worse/better than 1080p. That would be much appreciated.

Well.. the game does OFFICIALLY come out November 10th. But a lot of stores have already received the game and have began selling it. I was playing Xbox yesterday and about 5 people that were in my XBL Party were playing MW2 (their status said that). It's usually stores such as GameStop who release the game earlier then it's official release. Anyhow, I was reading a post of one of the IW Developers on Infinity Ward's forum, and he said that if you do get a LEGIT COPY of the game early, you're allowed to play it as much as you like, though IW asks that you don't spoil it for others. Anyways that's what he said. But we know everyone is spoiling the game for everyone anyways.

1 day and 16 hours left before MW2's Official Release! :D

I personally see MW2 as much better than CoD4. Its got more guns, new maps, etc. Ok, I admit, I haven't watched the new LEAKED MW2 footage that came out like 3 days ago because I didn't want to spoil MW2 for myself but from the videos that IW ALLOWED us to see, MW2 looks very good.

Hmm.. I don't want MW2 spoiled for me especially if IW didn't want us to see those videos because I'd rather be like "WoW" when I play the game for the first time instead of being like "This game is spoiled."

There's no point in stopping. They can make themselves 3 times more rich. Some may not like the continuation but most will still end up buying the Halo games. So Bungie will profit and make more money.

Yo, Heaven, I got an idea. Why don't you let each division leader post the roster and promote people for their division and you stay at the top Clan Leader. It would save you some work. So for example, the Xbox 360 division leader, posts the roster of CoD4/CoD WaW for Xbox 360 and can promote people.

Also.. umm.. I got my pre-order of MW2 for Xbox 360 but I can't find my 12 month XBL card.. Might have to buy a new one. So I don't know, I might end up changing my pre-order to PS3 even though I haven't been too happy with PS3 as of late with their updates and such. Gamertag: DarkSoldierNG).

I personally think the NGDD thread should stay open. It leaves a door for opportunity. If it's locked and someone then wants to re-create it, I doubt we'll get a mod to open this thread. And therefore causing us to start a new thread and what will the first post be of that thread? The LD System was suppose to be a sort of beta of the New-NGDD system. So personally, I would hope this thread stays open but if you guys feel that it's better off closed then I won't object to it...

I just been really busy and working on the LD System has been hard. When I look at the overall progress of the LD System, it looks good but then I think about the commitment that people in the NGDD will have to put forward in order for the system to not fail and I start to be concerned. People are busy with their lives and that's fine, I'm busy with mine too. The LD System would need every NGDD member being an active member of their position/rank in the NGDD. If one person would to mess up or not do their work, the whole system could fall...

If you get ODST and won't be able to get MW2 when it comes out then definitely don't get ODST now. Save your money and buy MW2 because MW2 is a must-buy.

... That's false. The only truth is Xbox 360 WILL BE getting 2 map packs before the PS3 gets them. But there are NO EXCLUSIVE map packs for either consoles.

that's cause I'm just not putting enough time on it and that I don't know who I should promote cause I'm not really active on CoD4.

I'll be honest. I haven't been playing CoD4 as of late because they still haven't fixed the hacks and glitches. You now can play 18 player Hard Core Search & Destroy and other game modes. Infinity Ward said they had a patch that just needed to be approved by Sony and Microsoft but that was like a month ago and still no patch.
