I know php, sql and actionscript decent enough and I was thinking about making a new flash site but use php and sql to handle all the database stuff just like normal but integrate it into flash.

I know from other people that this is Hard to do, but is it worth it or am I just opening a huge window of problems for myself by making the site in flash?

Maybe it looks normal and everything, but like Taylor said, there would be no advantage to using Linux as your main operating system on a personal computer. There seems to only be negatives like lack of program compatibility. I mean it may function like Windows but then if you decide you want to use Flash one day, you're screwed.

o snap.. yeah, I use flash almost every day, so I guess I'll just stick with windows.. unless there's some way for me to run flash on a Linux? :/

Sure, why would you think you couldn't? As long as you leave Windows on the hard drive, you can go back and forth all you want.

Use Swift 3D for 3D flash animations if your a begginner in 3D animation. But if you think you can just get into it fast then sure, go along with cinema.

About 35 dollars if the layout is pretty good.
If you don't know any coding and he expects you to edit the code to post new stuff, then he should make it all editable through php and design a portal kind of system for you, thats about 75$-90$ I would say.
