Especially one as faggy as Roadrunner?

Well they wouldn't have allowed for a leak to occur if they cared that much.
But it did, and it happens with most albums these days.

Regardless, I still intend to buy the album.

Well...it's like a baptism. They can count on die hard fans to get the CD.

Im listening to Mike Portnoy's Alcoholic's Anonymous suite.

If you're not aware of what I mean, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoholics_Anony mous_suite .

It's cool because the entire set has recurring themes in the music, which you may have noticed in the three songs that are already relseased.

There's four songs in it so far, and there will probably be 5 overall covering the entire suite.
It clocks up at around 45 minutes with the four songs i've got.

Mike Portnoy has said that he'd like to release a live EP with all the songs of the suite.

Let me just say, "In the Presence of Enemies" is bloody epic, especially part 2 as the album closure. Fantastic climax like Octavarium had.

Haha awesome.
I suck at piano. I only know the chords by working them out myself using theory i gained from guitar, so I can only make a few rudimentary melodies.
But the likes of Jordan Rudess, Elton John and Rick Wakeman make me wanna play it so badly.

Judas Priest's cover of Johny B. Goode is hilarious, but its bloody awesome.

Also do the covers on Dream Theater's A Change of Seasons count?
Cos if so, they're pretty hot.

Symphony X's "The Odyssey" is fucking brilliant.

And here's a little interesting thing for you:

If you listen to Blind Guardian's "And Then There Was Silence", and Symphony X's "The Odyssey" back to back, then you've basically got a metal composition of Homer's greek mythical epic "Iliad" and "The Odyssey".

Lawl.

One of my friends told me a story, something like this. He was in a bar, and a bassist was up playing. After a while, when things were quietning down a bloke went up to jam withe the bassist, and was showing him loads of stuff he didn't know. He came back down from the stage all pleased that he'd taught some of his tricks.
Somebody eventually told him it was John Paul Jones, and he hadn't even realised.

Isn't there some rule that bands who perform can't be "well known"?
I dont know how they measure that...

Anyway, the Eurovision song contest is the ultimate showcase of cheese. If any metal group were to play, it'd have to be a power metal group.
