How do you center an *embed file* in a pop up window (also needs to be centered when window is larged) I tried something like "center center" but, then it just goes to the upper left of the window.....

*embed file is located on another site (i dunno how it's called but i'll explane it like this; i used an URL to refer to the file, the thing you better don't do because you steal peoples broadband with it.)

Well you should....in my point of view, if someone has a sig pic or funny sig text he gets more respect in somesort of way, or if the pic is a very nice one, nice photoshop shop filters 'n stuff, then he looks less n00b too me. I foun dit very important too know wich kinda person i'm talking too. Yours looks very stylish (thats the style i'm kinda aiming at actually...)

It does sound very logical, but i don't really get why you can't control your scenes thruogh movie clips (saw some sort of tutorial wich said that) on a easy way....but i'll try this another day (its around 3 am here XD) and my pc somwhat crashes or just works at the speed of a slug when i have files that are like 2 megs or something and i use action script in it.....don't ask why i even attempt to make flash with action script.....

Probably a question that's been asked TOO many times.....but with a BBS search i got over a 100 pages and the first three didn't awnser me...

and neither did the last 3.....

So I like photoshop...(deuh)....and i get lessons at school how too work with it, but the thing is, i don't own it, i got the CS2 trial, but thats over....and i can't find a trial for other versions (i.e. version 7; CS 8; etc....) and i'd really like too work with it (school wise and hobby) until i get a job (waitering or something) and am able buy it....i googled a thousand times, but nothing relevant shows up, all crap like "bit torrunt" and whatyamacallit and the adobe site isn't helping either....only CS2 is available at the downloads page....does that REALLY mean you can't get any trial for the previous versions?............it's starting too make sense, wait, a trial is like a sample? please don't say it's like that.....I WANNA TRIAL FOR VERSION 7 OR 8.....so i can atleast keep up with school for a month or 2....

There are loads of dutch topics (and i think they're all about the germans.....) but, am i wrong or is dutch NOT a type of culture? Isn't it the language we (the belgiums/netherlands) speak? I could be wrong.....

But when i searched the BBS on "belgium" it showed only 6 threads! And 2 of them where locked?! So....i like them simpsons, watched lots of them, here in belgium we usually just see re-runs of very old episodes.....they're classic but ever so repeated, on saturdays the local network broadcasts newer episodes (season 10 or something i dunno), i know my basic knowledge of the simpsons, lotsa quotes, 'n stuff, know the characters personality by heart but don't ask me anything like "what did miss hoover drank in episode BF#1407 (well, this i know; it's cynomon coffee.....XD)

I think i'll join this one too.....i didn't really played all the games; i have the collectors edition on game cube, wich contains 4 games, and i own Wind Waker 'n Minish Cap....regurlarly lurk around on ~~The Desert Colossus~~ , am really drawn in the story (read a ".::Compendium Of Hyrule::. ") and seen some stories on You Tube.

Okay, I'm not a MAC user (yet) but i'd like too join this club here, because i wana get some more info about MAC, since i'm gonna get a job soon enough, i will be able too by myself one.

I know i can use google 'n stuff, or reading the entire thread on tips for buying one.....but i'm rather lazy today, so i'm just gonna wait for a reply.
I use windows at the moment, and really.....it's starting to anoy me.....it's like working with a old lady, they only good for making cookies and thats it, they can't do the heavy stuff......and since i work with all type of adobe products i need a good processor......and my windows one isn't all that good, and i refuse too make bill gates richer, I HATE THAT FUCK CAN'T EVEN MAKE PROPPER GAMES, well thats not true....BUT NINTENDO STILL RAWKS !!

I know that there are many threads about this, i kind of saw the bigger half of them, but i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.

Here 's the situation ; I have a MC in a MC with a TimeLine control menu, my play and pause buttons work just fine (i used a _root function) but my scene select buttons refuse to do what i tell them! I gave them the functions

pervious scene
on (release) {
prevScene();
}

next scene
on (release) {
nextScene();
}

pretty obvious......but it doesn't work, the buttons don't react at all, the "up; over; down; hit" work, but the AS is being ignored or something....I read that you don't have to use the _root function with scene slecting, so i didn't use it, but even with the root it doesn't work ( I EVEN TRIED DOUBLE ROOT'S !! (i.e. "_root._root...)

And since i made a new thread i might as well ask another question;

The menu (with pause, play....etc) works like this; 2 black bars tween from top and buttom when the mouse is held over the buttom of the screen (like pan scan or something).
The bars stay in the frame for 3 seconds and then tweens back, so you have enough time too choose if you wanna pause the movie or skip the scene. But I'd rather have it this way; the black bars stay in the frame as long as the mouse is held over the buttom of the screen, and tween back when the mouse moves in the center or top of the screen (i think you know what i mean....it's been done a couple of times)

Well i hope i get my awnser, and if my explenation is not detailed enough, or isn't understandible, let me know and i'll try telling it in another way
