I really don't like the way you do the lines, not sure if it's intended or not, the lines makes the drawing look like some wild doodle. Try smoothing it out more or something.

did you use any methods besides drawing alot of small lines? if so, i would like to know. looks good.

Large sized brush with low flow for shadows (do some dark lines with small brush and high flow too, this'll make it look much better), and small brush with higher flow will do the trick.
