yeah i agree that my stuff usually looks better colored, but i cant be arsed to color everything! especially not those pages filled with doodles. here's something i did in flash, it's supposed to be a movie poster.

Or are you just programmed to think that paragraph was directed completely at you and your beliefs. -_- like seriously, who doesn't think that? (besides those select atheists) I imagine even the reasonable atheists look at THESE atheists like "dude, shut up man, you're gonna ruin it for us!" I've always wanted to draw this, and now that I might be getting paid for it is quite the bonus.
if you don't have anything to contribute, go away -_- i suppose I was a fool to think that this wouldn't spark debate. Hey guys, can we please NOT make this another MLP contest?
No, I don't agree with it. But that's not the point. I was telling people not to turn this into a debate about religion regardless of their beliefs. I'm not quite sure why you are attacking me here?
Haha, I just knew someone would speak up against this. I couldn't disagree more with the editorial, which is why I won't contribute. I have some principles. But, seriously, come on. Threadstarter came with an request, there's payment involved, it's not that hard to just DON'T DO IT if you feel that it doesn't suit your own personal beliefs.
this was me trying to draw in photoshop for the first time in ages
i like the one on the top. drawn in flash about a year ago
Thanks!
Alright, I'll just post the old stuff that I don't hate looking at.
pen on paper.
Yo what up. Think I'll start posting here again. I'm starting to miss this place. I was wondering if I should post everything up to date or if I should just take it from here? I'll let you guys decide. Pretty much everything worth posting here is in the art portal anyway so I guess there's not much point doing it? Or? Here's a quick self portrait I just did:

work on the composition a bit, like how the swords are outside the screen. it makes it look unbalanced. other than that i like it, but you could also try to make his swords look less like pistachio ice cream and more like metal. it needs more contrast. be careful using brushstrokes on swords and other metal objects, it will make it look like fur or skin or ice cream. think highlights and reflection.

Well done my friend, definitely a friend I'm going to keep an eye on.
thanks buddy!!

it isn't that bad? if it wasnt for (maybe) the lack of a shooting star? haha ok thanks! care to explain what you don't like about it? it's not like a shooting star in the top left corner would make such a huge impact on it anyway. if you want me to make it better i need some better pointers than that buddy.
had to turn down the quality to 80% so go here: http://art.ngfiles.com/images/114/daagah _stueren.jpg

awesome work dude really great. I think you could work on the way you present this stuff though, all just thrown together on a page doesnt really do them justice; Even if you consider them scetches.
Just having some order in them, or placing a couple of them on a plane could make them into a real work of art.
yeah youre right, its all just a bit of a mess isnt it : ) ill keep that in mind, thanks!
heres me trying out that pixel tool thing in flash: (fullsize: http://art.ngfiles.com/images/114/daagah _pixls.jpg )

Meanwhile, here is another drawing I did recently:
again, not bad. but try to make the trees in the foreground darker, it will make that castle(?) stand out more.
not bad at all! my only complaint is that on the right side of the drawing it looks like the river is going up a hill. also, try to experiment with levels. as in making the things far away more dark, or lighter, than what is closest.

i like jackie. especially this one! nice work with shadows and stuff, except the fact that it looks like she is wearing a bandit mask. unless she is, of course.
also, on that game menu, id suggest trying to make that dude stand out more from the background. same thing with "the pyre". you could try to add a blur to the background. or maybe it would be better without the background? no offence to your background, but it kinda takes the attention away from what should be getting through to the viewer.
