And Flame...techno, electronica, dnb etc is pretty damn hard to do right. There are alot more textures and layers in electronic music than there are in metal :P

That's not true, all music has depth if you're doing it properly. Just in the same way that all genres of music can be sparse and beautiful. There is no generalizing justified.

Response to: newgrounds is fucking me over!!! Posted October 17th, 2005 in Audio

use itunes to convert your mp3's. It does it best at the moment.

Response to: why Posted October 17th, 2005 in Audio

Cos NG is shit for audio, it has a limit of 5mb on a song, it doesn't sought the stuff properly and it has those annoying tracks that play out while your looking at new entries

Response to: FL? Posted October 17th, 2005 in Audio

You can make decent stuff ofn FL, but don't. Use a real sequencer like Logic (or CubaseSX)

Response to: How do i increase vocals? Posted October 17th, 2005 in Audio

Compression! you need hi-ratio compression on vox. also automate your volume on vocals to push it up through the mix when you can't hear it.

not asking the general audience who for the most part probably barely any skill?

Maybe you're right, who would you recomend as an animater that is good for high action and original concepts. There are a few people I had in mind already.

Even he agrees, now fuck off.

Stop telling me to fuck off. Tthe album is being recorded now and I'm looking for an animater or animaters for the project. I thought I could find some decent talent here instead of using corporate video makers that make boring formulaic videos. Does anyone have any potential interest in doing this.

No really, fuck off, no-one ever bothers with these threads, and if they do, it ends like up the one in my sig.

stop trying to fuck me off. I'm looking for someone serious. This isn't a game. There could be good money in this if I can show the record label a sample of the animaters previous work.

If they like the idea and the style of the animation. It will be a great opportunity for whoever wants to do it.

Hello Great Animators

My name is Dan Clarke, i am a music studio engineer. I am currently engineering an incredble guitar album with legendary guitarist Jim Barber (Thin Lizzy, Rolling stones, Jeff Beck) These are just some of the records he has played guitar on. I am currently talking with the studio boss about getting an animation for some of these blistering tracks. Is there anyone interested in creating a high energy flash animation for some blistering professional guitar/electronic music?

That game is totally out there, It should be made in to an arcade. At first I thought it was retro but it's actually totally modern. People wouldn't have understood that thing in the 80's. Fucking fantastic game

Response to: The Music Colaboration Crew Posted December 19th, 2004 in Clubs & Crews

I think that the first thing to do is make a collaborative track. We need to gather components at 135bpm in Cmin (just a suggestion, if anyone can think of a why another key or tempo would be better, please post it). The track will inevitasbly become skitzofrenic psyco-mash, but that's what this place is all about. send vocal samples, bass lines, synth leads, guitar riffs and cool noises. I will compile the finished mix and we will take it from there.

The christmass remix stuff sounds really cool. I am really looking forward to hearing what some of you guys have done.

Merry Christmass Everyone

Even though you cussed me off badly last time I posted for this, by saying I wasn't wrighting in english and that I was a 50 Cent wannabe. Your enthusiasm for making music is positive and you have quuite a fresh approuch with your more experimental tunes. In order to do this propperly, you must crystalize your strengths and suggest them as contributions towards a bigger project. Your strengths appear to be guitar riffs and sonic ideas. However your arangement is weak (ie your songs are incomplete) and your beats and basic bass sounds are not particularly strong. I think that you could make a valuable contribution to something bigger.

By the way, please don't deffend major record labels like WB and BMG, they exploit artists and subject us to shit.

So lets start kicking out the Jams
