"At any time, the UK could be attacked by al-Queda."
(21/1/03)

Didn't somebody tell him a couple of basic facts? Firstly, nobody cares about International Terrorism any more, that is, like, SO 2001 and not worthy of being meantioned.

Second, your pal George has got it right - fearmonger about IRAQ, for God's sake. That's the current "evil" out there, so at all times must be milked to get a culture of fear and, hopefully, more votes at the next Election.

Yes, that applies to all 17,000 of us, doesn't it? Nice little generalisation that you make in your usual, non-fascist way. Did you pause for, I don't know, half a second and scan for sarcasm before dropping the latest flash, or is that beyond your capabilities?

Read the first chapter of Stupid White Men - Gore won the damn election, and Bush stole it from him. It's quite deep how much cheating went on in that corrupt little corner of the globe known as the Bush Compound.

So what you're telling me is the usual, very petty, defence that "oh, because you haven't made any Flash, you don't have the right to judge"?

So I guess Iam also in the wrong for giving 5s to the likes of From My Room, Rockman Neo, Cokehead etc., because I haven't made Flash? What should I do, vote 3 on everything? Please, tell me, because I can't wait to hear your well thought out plan which involves plenty of rational thought.

By the way, you're wrong on that whole "point." I do make movies, just real ones that involve actors, editing, camera equipment and having a crew, which you might realise is far more work than spending a grand total of 20 minutes creating another piece of Flash in your parent's basement.

Now, can you leave EZ3 to defend himself please? That wasthe whole point of the thread.

Once again, the 33 year old male that has a remarkable skill to whine like a 12 year old girl is blaming the Blam Club for all his crappy flash getting annihilated, terming us "Nazis", and trying to turn users against us.

Funny, that sounds like this one guy that had an insecure hatred for a minority that only made up around 5% of the population, which led to much propeganda that stated they did not deserve to be citizens, and stirred up plenty of ill-feeling among the population, taking advantage of their insecurities, before taking actions against them.

Guess who that was? Oh, since you probably won't understand this either, Germany, 1933, elected Chancellor, had a bad side parting and postage stamp as a 'tache.

EZ3, the whining little shit that puts the "anal" into "analogy," ladies and gentlemen.

"North Korean Nuclear Crisis"??? Posted January 14th, 2003 in Politics

So, today I first heard this term, as an Australian minister is doing what any American one isn't; actually going to a country and checking for themselves, and not bullshitting around for weeks on end, or generally stalling the UN repeatedly to make their "opposition" look bad.

But, please, can somebody tell me how this constitutes as a "crisis." There are no nukes being pointed at, say, South Korea, Japan, or the US, and they certainly aren't in the range to annihilate the White House (California is hardly at risk, and Hawaii may be just out of range as well), yet Dubyuh makes them out to be the Big Bad Enemy, who are intent on nuking the US and being generally offensive to the American way of life...oh yeah, they're communist. That's it.

Once again, Bush relies on age-old thinking in contemporary times and hopes to fearmonger himself yet more support in time for the Election - because a culture of fear is generally a good way to gain attention, if not votes. Since there hasn't been a volley of Scud missiles from Bagdhad in the last 10 years (mostly because the US is so far out of range it's ridiculous), especially now, it's time to scare the shit out of the public with a nation slightly closer to home, until it's time to pickl on Cuba again out of general habit.

The real nuclear crisis that's affecting the world right now is the fact that Bush is in charge of an arsenal that could reduce the planet to dust three times over, and is clearly itching to try out some of his toys. The question is whether anyone in Government will kindly point this out to the public, and won't be dismissed as a "liberal pussy" or something similar by the mass lobotomy that is the American general population. Holding my breath could prove fatal...

Response to: who is/was the worst president ever Posted January 13th, 2003 in Politics

In my living memory, Reagan was hideously underqualified to govern, his politics were pure poison, he screwed the economy, and made Jimmy Carter look capable as President.

However, I think Kennedy was a pretty bad President as well. He was elected on his name and looks, relied on soundbites and flip remarks to garner votes rather than any political know-how (which he didn't have), practically bought his way into office, and what happened? He gave top Government jobs to his brothers, as he had no other contacts, or any idea of how to run a country, dragged the US into the Cuban Missile Crisis, further fuelled the pointless Cold War, annihilated the economy of both the US and USSR with the Space Race (which was pure PR), and made himself look good historically for nothing more than getting shot, and couldn't even have the car drive in the right direction for a convincing assassination. Iprobablymissed quite a bit, but so much of it is in the bowels of the Government Vaults until a whole generation of Kennedy dies out.

Response to: The UK really is trying to be USA2 Posted January 13th, 2003 in Politics

By the way, what I (and the Daily Mail fearmongering committee) forgot to meantion is what that 35% increase equalled. Last year, the entire UK(population 56 million) managed to shoot and kill...87 people.

Is this a statistic to be worried about at all? If our ::ahem:: Culture Minister Kim "Bullshit" Howells is intenton blaming So Solid Crew et al for anything other than dire, cliched, wannabe-gangster garage crap, it gives a clear indication of how conservative the opposition to the Conservative Party has become since Blair took over.

If the gun murder rate was like the US (12,000-odd last year), maybe then there should be a cause for concern, because that would be a sizable chunk of the percentage of the UK population, wheras far more people died last year as a result of choking on food (step forward all 114 Dub-yuh impersonators) than chewing on lead. Has there been an outcry against peanuts? Has there bollocks.

Statistics can make anything sound good or bad, depending on what you want them to say. After all, the amount of massaging the unemployment statistics have had over the years makes them very flexible indeed. Sound familiar to any other nationalities, perchance?

Give him a position in the Republican party? You make it sound like he'd fit right in.

The UK really is trying to be USA2 Posted January 9th, 2003 in Politics

Last year, gun related deaths went up a whopping 35% in the UK and Ireland. We're finally catching up with them, if this trend goes on like this for another 15 years, and Americans don't find general slaughter more and more enjoyable every year. Hey, that's what they have pointless PR campaigns disguised as wars for!!!
