Hey Dudes and Dudettes!

I'm working on a game for the NG Christmas competition and I'm looking for a coder.

It's a side-scrolling action game with three levels. Characters and storyline are designed. The animation is already under way (and looking great).

It's based on a short film I made, Deck'd , which won the audience award in its category at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth!

I'm directing the project and making the music, with Brakkenimation doing the art and animation.

Ok, so I'm new to making games, but not to flash. If you want an idea of one of my best things, go watch "I won't be home for Christmas" in my profile.

Anyway, this is in regards to that Wiggi World Contest, in wich 1st prize is 4,000 bucks! I have an idea for a game, and I have a rough little picture of what I want the main character to look like.

The basis for the game would be that you, a spaceman (or superhero, i haven't decided) Wind up on a planet much like Earth, except for the fact that nothing is in color. You would fly through about 5 or 10 levels, and use your Color Ray to blast as much as you can into color. The more of the objects you can sucessfully color, the better your grade is at the end. You need a C to move on to the next level.

Anyway, the attatched picture is what the guy might look like. Thats not the final style, but it's an idea.

why dont you just dowload the newgrounds preloader and then mess with it...that's what most people do.

I am creating a game called Galaxy Defender. It would be in the style of an old arcade space shooter game. Here is the synopsis:

You are a GALAXY DEFENDER. One of few

umm yeah here...its kinda hard to give snapshots cas i actually have to set them up since its not opperational yet.

i know exactly what's wrong, you need to highlight those lines, and make them as thin as possible. THEN loook for gaps. You can't see the real gaps if the line is over like .25 or something. do that and you should find out where it's not connected.

I'm making a game, and i have this so far for the character...i know it doesnt make him change the direction he's facing, its because the backround is moving behind him and he's running constantly and cant change direction.

I need to add another part that makes him jump, and it needs to go to frame 2 as long as he's in the air. please help me real quick!

In this game i'm doing, when you shoot the enemy, it blows up, but because of the hittest, while the explosion animation is playing you can still shoot the explosion to make it go back to the begining of the explosion...is there something i can put on the frames to make them not work with the hittest? PLEASE RESPOND!

I need code for game that makes a character move across the stage from right to left randomly, and make it so more than one of the characters can be moving across the stage, and more and more come on the screen faster every 20 seconds or so...help please?

I need characters to move across the screen (right to left) randomly, and they need to increase in speed every 30 seconds or so. Please help.
