This is probably THE song that more people have heard of mine than any other. So many people from Newgrounds have used it for flashes. I've heard of certain Counter-Strike servers have started playing it in game. In random flashes on the internet, I've seen this song pop up. Greatest part of all, Techno Fun 5 just broke 5000 downloads. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe that's the most downloaded song on Newgrounds Audio portal. Correct me if I'm wrong on that. So here's the deal, I ripped a midi by Nobuo from the Final Fantasy 7 Prelude. If you're gonna make a rip of a song, at least make it sound better or just as good as the original. Made with my favorite program FL Studio 4.5. Das right ladies and gentlemen, it's been upgraded.

I bet this song goes like fuck'n triple platinum, not because it's good, but because everyone loves FF7. Doesn't matter about origninality. It's just a popular name. Don't you just hate people sometimes?

I'm sick and tired of hearing Midi rips of video game songs. First off, just because you converted the MIDI and changed the instruments to fruity sounds, does NOT make it sound cool. And the sounds coming from it is no better than it sounded as a midi. Does anyone actually make the video games songs from scratch? Or even mix them to make them sound BETTER than the original?

it's cause audio portal mods are lazy. There should just be more mods, that's all. Mods that would actually listen to the music and approve people. Thing is, you only gotta be approved once. yeah, someth'n weird. Every new song i try to post usually takes a day to get approved for some reason. :-x Pretty much always. Someone said once about a script will fix it in the morning. SO, i just never worried too much.

What I'd really like to see is the audio artists to be able to be added to my favorite artist's list. staticnoise does some cool work, which I found since he has me as a favorite artist...but since he only does music, I can't return the favor.

check'n out staticnoise... I think he's got some good ideas, but they're not produced well enough. I mean, they're cool, buuuut... The bass needs more bass. And less centered. Everything sounds centered. I kinda wonder what program he's us'n. I use FL Studio myself.

True... But i mean, newgrounds could be a place to find some cool new tunes, and not poorly made music.

AND even though it may be best for small loops for flash producers, maybe there could be an option for what category. Alot of people use music as a way to waste time, aka entertainment. It fits the profile of newgrounds to be an audio portal to great new tunes. Besides, people need to start contacting me more about songs they need for flash things. So i make cool songs that are really like... Examples of my crazy mad skillz. ;)

I still say audio portal could use a quick facelift to make it a better place to upload LOOPS or full songs.

well, yes and no. It's sad that there isn't better music, and i knwo someone's gonna get defensive when i say this, but... Seriously, alot of music here, could sound better. That's MY opinion. And i think if we got some way of ensuring that it DID sound better, people wouldn't hear so many crappy songs, before they found a good song. I like the idea of having a best 20 or so from the recent weekand have it updated daily or something like the flash portal does. It'd let people hear the GOOD songs and help filter out the not so good songs.
