Check your acheivements menu to see if the weapon medals have been removed. If you close the game screen or quit after getting a medal, it wont count on the acheivements.. Once the games menu shows that you have got all weapon goals, then artifact 19 should be your starting weapon.

Yeah you can hit the ones on the rails. It took me ages to try and avoid them so i gave up in the end and it still gave me the medal.. Just dont shoot any.

Yeah, sorry about my absence too. I've had a ton of work to do and very little time for the club or AQ. I have more free time for a while now, so i will do my best to catch up in here.

They are pretty much the same.. But they use different attacks. Reignbringer uses Magic and Liquefactoer uses Melee. What one is best for you depends on preferance and stat layout.

I use Liquefactor for example because i like to use it with IronThorn.. Which gives a damage bonus to Melee and Ranged attacks.

Reign and Golden are probably the two most useful. Seeing as golden is hard, try for the reign set. This has quite a hard boss too. If you cannot get reign set either.. You should consider nemesis.. it is very good all round.

Badly phrased, sorry. I didnt mean that I use the sheild itself. I wear the sheild when i need to surrender a turn to summoning guests, noteably with primal garb. This is because it requires a weak armour that will take a lot of damage. You can use the sheild to undo damage while you are at your weakest this way.

Well, firstly.. Yes he is very hard to beat. But onto how you can beat him:

1) Your character is only level 76. It would be a very impressive victory if you beat him at this level. He is very hard when i got the golden set about 10 levels later than you.
2) You need a good defensive/offensive armour. But this i really mean an uber. I picked up Nemesis set as my first uber. people tend to talk down about nemesis set because it isnt as useful when you reach the higher levels, but at your level it is very valuable especially since it doesnt require a quest. If you dont want to get the nemesis set, you could try using the Undead Giant attack from the Obsidian Cloak (necromancer class armour).
3) Eye of naab is a good choice. Maybe use it to summon pets/guests to add even more damage.
4) Try and kill him quickly before he gains enough MP to heal. Also concentrate on defending his powerful attack. Nemesis plate/shield will do both of these reasonably well.

Good luck! You will get there eventually, but you might have to take a few stepping stones off other items before you can reach the golden set.

I completely agree with the raising gold from battles. Otherwise, taking away all the farming locations just makes the game harder and longer.. And as a result, more tedious. I get that they dont want that many people at 130 or whatever.. But its hard enough to get that far as it is.

I could not cope with only one uber though lol. I use them all too much!

That really sucks. The AQ team have been cutting down the benefits of farming loacations for a wjile now (like they made Damfeldork - or however its spelt - harder). I dont see why they are doing this. I get it that it might give an unfair advantage to anyone who doesnt know about it.. But it is in game, we are not breaking any rules and its the same repetative action that farms through random battles anyway.

Oh well. I guess the staff know best :) and there are still other ways to get gold.. Just nowhere as good as the maze.

NOOOO!! That quest was by far the best way to make gold.. Anyone wanting to earn a lot of gold now, I advise you to take advantage of this quest while it is still rewarding gold for each time you do it... rather than once a day.

Wow! Thats not many at all. Whenever i do that battle, 2 potions seems to be almost equal to the amount of damage he does! I usually use a few more than 4 and it takes too long anyway, so i dont bother.

This is probably because it doesnt take as much damage to get me to use potions due to low END.

Fair enough. I cant really argue with you in that point as I have never had high END. I would say that the main reason for my high DEX is not so much for defence as it is for the damage of ranged weapons. Because it defends as well.. This allows me to keep my END low so that I can have each offensive force (STR, DEX and INT) all high without dying all the time. Thats why i use DEX a lot.

Also.. Thats another pretty close one. How many potions are you using there?

Yeah! Congrats for all of them.. Cutting it a bit fine dropping to 100HP though, he could have easily had you in one hit then!

I didnt include you as a member because you seemed to be a passing guest. You asked if any of us here had the blade of awe and I told you we all did. It just takes time to get your own BoA. Just keep at it and eventually all the pieces will turn up. I think that fleeing and dying make it less likely to find the pieces though. And as LJS said, the crossroads are a good place to start.

Yeah.. these are definately some of (if not the) best pets. However, due to your low charisma, these pets would not be as effective for you. If you take a look at my character page, you will see alternative pets that work well for people with 0 CHA. A lot of mine are z token but the ones that arent are very cheap.

If i remember right.. I did the Golden quest with a mix of Nemesis set and Obsidian Cloak.
I'd recommend Pet Whistle and Primal Garb (beastmaster class armour) as well, to allow you to have a pet and two guests which you can easily change..
Eye of Naab and a good healing spell and a good defensing shield to light would also be a massive help.

Dont be discouraged if Uncle Sham gets you the first time though.. Its a VERY hard boss. Possibly the hardest of the Epic bosses.

I went to somewhere just kept doing that. Put my Golden plate on mana spirit nerfkitten was defeating most monsters in a turn and using sila's staff to regain mana so i didn't have to go back and rest every single time. Very quick i managed to complete it :D

Wow, thats impressive. I think its always best to have the BoA, even if you dont use it. Because it is so much better than the sword you have in the irreplaceable slot before you get the BoA.

Out of interest, where did you quest to find it so quickly?
