I would like to believe that one day we will achieve peace. Unfortunately I dont think its actually possible. Humanity will doom itself long before we could ever achieve anything like that. As a species we're driven by greed and I think this is our fatal flaw. You could argue that if we change how we view money and material wealth we would live in a more peaceful society, but its not really that simple. I suppose until we see ourselves as one people, we'll always be stabbing each other in the back for resources.
