Response to: What Do You Reach For First? Posted December 15th, 2010 in General

iPhone to turn off alarm, if the alarm wasn't set it means that neither me or my girlfriend had work that day so instead the first thing I would do is roll over and hug her, if this doesn't lead to sex ( which it hasn't been much recently) I grab my joggers and go for a run.

The closest shops to me is actually a big shopping center but geographically speaking I guess it would be woolworths since it's on the western side and the center is to the east of my house.

Probably check my stocks and see what a year has done to them, if they crashed I'd be pissed, if I had made massive gains I'd make up for lost time and go to Paris and Rome

autobot would be good. someone starts a crappy thread or posts something really stupid the general public can click on it as spam and if enough people do the thread or post gets deleted along with punishment to the creator of such thread/post.

The decline Posted December 12th, 2010 in General

I see it more and more these days, trolling alts or just trolls in general.
the quality of alot of forums are declining due to this and i can only assume that it will get worse and it really does annoy alot of people including myself. sure some times its funny but still most is just annoying.

So lets just focus on the NG forums for now.
do you think that there should be a more pro active way to clean up the forums? whether we get more mods, implement harsher punishments, implement the same punishments but with less toleration or maybe even IP bans.

or maybe it doesnt get to others like it does to me, i dont know but i still think that it will continue to get worse over time if something isnt done and id hate to see this place become a full blown spam fest.

Id like to hear some mod's thoughts on this aswell.

Response to: So agnostics of newgrounds Posted December 12th, 2010 in General

I am agnostic and i dont see it as sitting on the fence.

As far as im concerned atheists dont believe in god and fair call... there is no proof, however i may not believe in god but i accept the fact that i may be wrong and thats what makes me an agnostic.
I was raised an atheist since thats what my dad is (a full on atheist that thinks that any kind of afterlife concept is just stupid to even consider) and thats how i was raised but once i started to think about the whole concept i realized that there is no way for any of us to know whats gonna happen when we die and i think thats its a little closed minded to not accept that you may be wrong in this debate no matter what side of the fence you are on.

Response to: What's your job? Posted December 10th, 2010 in General

Im a Head chef, in love my job and the pay is great untill you factor in how many hours i do to get that pay, since im on salary i can sometimes do 90-100 hours a week and only get paid for 38. still i take home just over a grand a week after tax plus i eat for free when ever im working and can be bothered cooking for myself and as long as service isnt flat out i can go for smokes when ever i please, though i dont abuse this freedom, to much to do.

i also write the menus and cost specials either in my own time or sometimes at work.

i get paid weekly straight into my bank, though any other method is uncommon in Australia, i dont know anyone that gets paid monthly.

Since he has hundreds of jokes about him, do you think his death will bring alot of untastefu jokesl with it.
I mean alot of celebs have jokes made about there deaths once there gone, do you think that chuck would have, say ten times the amount or just the standard amount that most celebs get when there gone.

Not that we fear death, it's that we fear the unknown. No one knows what happens after death, it might actually be bliss.
But as long as we are kept in the dark, we will forever fear death.

Religion is a solution to understanding the unknown. People make beliefs on how the world works, and why it is in its current state.

Yes but iv been raised as an atheist and the idea of any afterlife seems unlikely to me. I do accept that there may be an afterlife, therefore I guess these days I'm more of an agnostic instead of an athiest.
So even if there was a heaven I'm probably not invited

Pimps and hoes has already been done. So has...
The color yellow (there for all colored themes are out)
Forgotton characters(I ment as Austin powers)
Silly hats and glasses
Any character with the same initial as you (the joker for me)
And gangsters & emos (weird combo, I know but it was easy for everyone)

So this makes it kinda hard cos I don't wanna copy any of them.
I like the Adam and Eve idea but it's kinda pointless since I have a gf.

21st birthday party theme. Posted December 2nd, 2010 in General

So my 21st is in a month and I'm going to be throwing a really big party as it's going to double as a going away party since I'm moving inter state the following month.

I'm having trouble picking a theme for the party though. So far I have pirates and ninjas ( which if chosen I'll also be providing a few bottles of sake for the ninjas and rum and pineapple juice for the pirates.) My other idea is rock and metal cos I think it would be intersting to see what sub genres people come as.

However these are just ideas I came up with the other day. I'm sure collectively u guys can come up with much better ideas than mine.

And for the people that think dress up partys are lame then that's fine but a fair few of my friends have thrown themed partys this year and they have been very successful, with a huge turn out of people getting dressed up.

Response to: The Internet Is Shut Down Posted December 2nd, 2010 in General

Id get pretty frustrated, the Internet is very very useful for obtaining knowledge, communication, socializing and so on i dont think chaos would consume us all, the rest of history has gotten on just fine without it, we'd all adjust soon enough and alot of people would probably get alot healthier due to the fact that there is one less reason to stay inside for hours on end.
the economy would take a devastating blow though.

I don't think that the world will end in 2012 but I do think that with all the people that do, there will be chaos in the weeks leading up to the date in which we are all ment to die.
