Response to: New animation Series! [Help] Posted August 14th, 2014 in Collaboration

Hello,

First of all, my mistake for not answering sooner. NEWGROUNDS seem to have a "only see messages if you click on them" policy haha. But yeah, I've already been in contact with a few writers and as I don't want to choose a certain writer yet (because I don't know everyone's writing potential), I'll definitely need your voice acting skills, depending on your voice reel and quality of your audio c: VA parts are always open because of the amounts of characters this series will be using. (So please pm your voice reel c: ).

I apologise for any wait relating to my reply, but the animation team contacts each other via Skype and so it's preferred that you leave your skype in your next reply if you have one.

New animation Series! [Help] Posted August 14th, 2014 in Collaboration

Looking for animators, writers, musicians and voice actors to work with me on an animation series that'll be published to YouTube. To give you a small insight on what the animation is about, here you go. (To remind you, it's small. Protection of ideas and all that jazz):

" Beta Testers is an animation series about three friends; Terrance, Kyle and Luke who test games for indie developers. One day, a new game is released for the Oculus Rift called ‘Reality Warfare 3’. But as they start to set up their characters, something goes horribly wrong. They are teleported into the ‘Gamiverse’. The universe of where every game that has been released are kept. Call it a ‘Database’ or ‘Headquarters’ for video games and it’s characters, if you will. "

(Like i said, it's short). If you want to see the full PILOT of the series, please contact me on either a PM or my gmail: creolent.developer@gmail.com

EDIT: I'm considering having a female main character as well, so female VA's are welcome!

Description

Looking for help in producing a 3D Multiplayer/Apocalypse Survival Game (as the title suggests) to be retailed and published on Steam.

Here is all the information at this moment;

Story pitch:

2020, The world is in peril. Governments around the world have crashed and the only way anything is decided, is through a civil war. Since the government crash, Rations, materials and resources are scarce. Any survivors left in this world, are fighting to outlive this crisis. Some have made communities and civilisations while some have dedicated their lives to being lone wolves.

“ We are living on the brink of the apocalypse, but the world is asleep “.
- Joel C. Rosenberg

Players start off with nothing and choose to work their way to building a civilisation or stay to survive as a lone wolf in-game.

The world is set in a fictional, modern location of England. It is filled with radiation areas, fields and abandoned housing.

Gameplay:

This game pushes survival, PvP and multiplayer circumstances. Allowing players to socialize and interact more than other games. Although, the player can decide his/her outcome in terms of playing alone or starting their ‘Factions’ and ‘civilisations' with groups.

If you are interested, please contact me at the email address provided in this advert and i'll reply as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Response to: [help] Game Programmer Wanted! Posted July 21st, 2014 in Programming

Depends what you mean by 'hours'. If you want an answer for 'if this project is worth your time?' then my answer would have to be, yes. Because without the programmers, we won't be able to get the gameplay we want. Also, this game is being published and SOLD so even at the end of this project, you'll still benefit from it.

[help] Game Programmer Wanted! Posted July 16th, 2014 in Programming

Hi,

Myself and a few other members are currently working on a 2.5D Psychological Horror Game and we are in need of a programmer.

The programmer must be able to decently code 2.5D games and must be committed to the project until the very end.

In brief, the game is about 4 main characters who all end up in an unknown location due to an entity that wants to take revenge on them. As they venture the location, the playable character Darren, uncovers dark secrets and eventually finds out why they were there all along. But this location has more to it than it's exterior suggests.

(That wasn't the 'back cover' of the game, just my way of explaining it haha)

The story is related to the seven deadly sins concept. Where the character's are 'judged because they have sinned and must "repent".' And something, or someone, ends up punishing them.

Self-established indie group projects such as these tend to become cancelled or inactive, but i must ensure you that this opportunity is not the case and this will be taken as a serious project as the video game will be published and sold on a variety of platforms such as;

I phone,
Android,
PC (Steam/Newgrounds),

And the playstation network (PS VITA preferrably).

The environment and camera angles will be similar to games such as these:

s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/assets/00…

th01.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f…

Gameplay and other styles featured in this game will be similar to just a few psychological horror games. But we are aiming for something a little different than the usual 'jumpscare' or combat that you find common around this particular genre. We will be trying to recreate the one thing horror afflicts on people and that is ultimately, Fear.

I hope someone will find this project interesting and i look forward to working with one of you!

Any other requests, questions or you want to apply to work on the project, please post your comment below.

- Thanks.

p.s: Keep in mind that we are looking for people who will contribute voluntarily, preferably. As sales will be shared to every individual member (percentage depends on the amount of members involved by the end of the project). But if you insist on being paid, we can surely work up some sort of financial agreement!

As far as I'm aware, you can't upload games made with RPGMVXA. Tried it myself with no luck, sorry.

we are using a custom game engine, now.

[help] Need Artists For 2d Psycholo Posted July 2nd, 2014 in Art

Hi,

I am looking for a group of people who are interested in making a game on a game engine named 'RPG MAKER VX ACE' and I am in search for the following people;

*Writers
*Musicians
*2D Artists (for RPG MAKER preferably)
*Programmers

The game I am working on is a 2D RPG game called 'Seven Sins'. A psychological horror game, About students confronting dark secrets because of sin. Based upon the Seven Deadly Sins (details will be given only to whom is interested). This game will be built to bring fear to the player and making the player feel uneasy when making a decision. FEAR can be brought in many ways but I just listed a few.

Most games like these tend to become inactive or cancelled, but I can assure you, this opportunity will not be the case.

Any requests and or questions you have, be sure to leave a reply! All the work you put into this project will be greatly appreciated and all who work on this game will of course, be credited.
