Lots of folks are talking about the potential for weird Disney/Marvel mash-ups, and they had tie-ins to the new Tron movie not too long ago:
Those Marvel Heroes Tronified illustrations are fuckin' awesome.

Wolverine, Storm (and basically every X-Men character) and Spider-Man won't appear on The Avengers sequels and related films due to ownership: Fox and Sony own the movie licence of those characters and as such cannot appear in a film made by Marvel/Disney. I hope to see Ant-Man and Wasp on the upcoming films; Edgar Wright is still working on an Ant-Man film and he's a great director.
And I think you meant Hugh Jackman, not Hugh Grant. Hugh Jackman is Wolverine.

I'm going to see it. Anybody else?
I already saw it. Joss Whedon did a great job with all those already established characters together and make them work together. Avengers is an achievement in the action/adventure/superhero genre.

That's Mr Freeze, buddy.
Bane was also in Batman and Robin. Remember the huge, dumb Poison Ivy body-guard?

I'd love to see what Nolan could do with those villains, but I'm happy with Bane. He's one of the most important Batman villains but the big audience don't know him or only know the bastardized version that Schumacher made of him on Batman and Robin.

Trailer 3
I saw it last night at midnight. I had a loud orgasm and woke up my parents.
I think it's done. What do you guys think?

The movie is awesome Ama. I already saw it, if you're into superheroes and you liked the previous Marvel movies you're gonna love it.

The Nick Fury from the animated series is a mix of both, regular and black Fury.

I watched it and I love it. Joss Whedon did a hell of a job bringing all this already established characters together and make them work together in the movie. It's one of the best action/adventure/superhero movies I've ever seen.

I like both Marvel and DC, and I hope The Dark Knight Rises be nothing but awesome.

WIP
I upload this wip more to show the concept, I know the hands look odd she's supposed to be doing a heart shape with her hands. I'd like some feedback and to know what other things to fix.
I had the awesome luck to watch it on premiere last night and let me tell you IT'S GREAT.
I'm not gonna give spoilers but I'll try to cover all the basic aspects I enjoyed of the movie: First of all Joss Whedon made a terrific job making true the vision that Marvel started with Iron Man and kept with all the other movies, if you see all the other movies it feels like the culmination of a big epic saga; it's a movie that you'll totally enjoy if you saw the previous films and/or you are a Marvel comics fan, but for the general audiences it has all the elements to be a really cool popcorn film. The action scenes are really well done and , the CGI is effective and, besides The Hulk (which is finally a decent made Hulk who doesn't look like a clay figure out of place with the rest of the environment of the film), is not ground-breaking; Story-wise it's the typical story of heroes who don't get along getting together to save the day, but that doesn't make it predictable or uninteresting; All the characters have a decent screen time (the movie is 2+ hours long) and the interaction between them is very organic and well delivered and I think that's the biggest achievement of the film.
Overall, The Avengers is not a "masterpiece" or a "great visual achievement", it's just one of the best action/adventure/superhero movie and that's what makes it so awesome.

Sweet. Here's a WIP. Feedback is appreciated.
We3. it's about a dog, a cat and a rabbit who are turned into weapons. They're into robotics armors and they escape from captivity and the military wants them back, dead or alive. It's disturbing because they're cute animals but they're also killing machines and they can't control their instincts.
What the fuck is this shit???!!!! Friday sounds like Bohemian Rhapsody next to this.

At 4/18/12 06:08 PM, EmmaVolt wrote: It's a CN show, what would you expect?
Adventure Time, Regular Show and the DC Nation block are the only good things on CN right now. The rest of their shows are disposable.
And about Johnny Test, I think is just a bland, generic show, but it's not a piece of crap, I don't understand why is so hated.
Drawception has changed. Now it has a new design and a neat logo, which now makes look the site more pro and appealing. And also there's a new option: you can create an 18 panel games.

It looks like those are clipart images that can be used by students and office people to their power point presentations and even can be used by some lazy web designers. I don't see the point to post these since those kind of images ain't really and "art resource" and like Ama said, they're not really visible in that little banner.
Am I the only one who watches the show but hasn't read the books?
I'm really enjoying season 2 but it's getting a little convoluted with too many new characters and, except for Tyrion, all my favorite characters of season 1 aren't getting enough screen time (especially Daenerys). Still it's basically the only good show on the air right now (alongside with Mad Men). I hope it gets better in the upcoming episodes.

This is my best so far (and the most voted).
If I rent/buy a movie on DVD it's because I've seen the trailer way before or at least I have an idea what the movie is about. It's weird to watch a trailer moments before to watch the movie.
Party Rock Anthem it's an offense, not to Jesus, but to good taste and common sense.
A couple of folks on the chat suggested me Drawception and I have to say that is freaking funny and addictive. I've been playing all morning. Here's my profile if you're interested, my drawings are kind of crappy but I had a blast making them.
