The only people that are really affected by Swine Flu are the elderly, pregnant women, and children. It probably won't kill you if you have no health problems that could make it worse. I'm sure that the virus is stronger in certain cases though. The main problem is if it mutates into something worse than regular flu.

As an Australian like you I suppose all the censorship that happens here is going overboard. Forcing game developers to produce less gory versions for Australia and other countries without an 18+ rating is too much of a demand for them to live up to. I don't understand why the government can't just add the 18+ rating to games.

A controversial issue is when Stephen Conroy planned to put filters on Australian internet banning thousands of websites across the globe. If that happened, then it would be an outright infringement on the limited freedom of speech we only have.

I think that some forms of censorship are good - eg. blurring out faces, covering undesirable images on television before late hours, and home installed filters for young people; but when it comes to filtering the entire internet for Australians and forcing game developers to make an Australian friendly version of a game is just a blatant infringement on our rights.

I agree 100%. Protests have had a major part in the history of mankind, and now they're essentially useless because the government know most people aren't going to riot if demands are not met. On your argument towards governments "silencing" people, I suppose there are varying levels of shadiness for each government... The Chinese Government sometimes just executes protestors outright without covering anything up.

If you mean AAC, you can convert to that format with Switch Sound File converter... I'm pretty sure there's a free trial of it and if you can be bothered, you can get a torrent for it. You probably shouldn't even bother with iTunes anyway. Just torrent your music and listen to it with Foobar.

What kind of a kid would try to access porn at school? My school's pretty mental about filtering websites, and at least %75 of the internet is blocked, but it's pretty ridiculous when I can't get proper research done because of filters that shouldn't be there.

I'm sick of Apple personally; I bought about $20 of songs off iTunes presuming I could use it with an alternative audio player (because iTunes is slow as shit), but thanks to the genius invention of DRM, I simply couldn't. Just do the easy thing and torrent your music. It's much easier than using Limewire or buying from iTunes. Apple will probably just completely eliminate LaLa so they can introduce proper streaming on iTunes.

Pfft, to me, Chromium OS is a load of Bollocks. So what if everything stays signed in with Google, you can just get Firefox to save all your passwords. You can't play (barely) any good games on it, not to mention all the data collecting Google will do. Sure it looks pretty and all, but Windows 7 is prettier. Heck, Ubuntu is probably better than Chromium OS
