If teachers were allowed to hit students this world would be a much better place. My psych teacher told the class that hitting doesn't help, but in his day they beat kids and he is probably the most stable person in the world. When I have even a bit of power I am going to make it legal to beat students (and maybe spank kids.). Anyone up for some Korean-style punishment, I know I am.

I swear when I saw the Mormon and scientology south park episodes I thought to my self "who the hell falls for this stuff." Then I realized that Christianity was not much better. At least 20% of the bible is believable and plausible, unlike seers stones and galactic overlord xenu. I actually like Mormons, but I cannot stand scientology (I don't even capitalize it.)

I listen to many different genres of music (especially metal), but I have a big guilty pleasure... when I've had a crappy day I watch J-pop videos on youtube. It just cheers me up. It's catchy, up-beat and the fact that you hear a lot of "engrish" just makes it that much more enjoyable. I don't have a strong liking for it, but It puts a smile on my face.

Japan is among my favourite countries, along with South Korea and Finland. After my first year of university (2 years to go), I got the clear to go to Japan or South Korea. Language wise, Japanese is a lot harder. First you need to learn the kana ( katakana and hiragana), then the kanji (characters). There are thousands of kanji if not millions. If you really want to go to Japan I suggest you start studying right away.
