i've learned it from experience:
drawing anime before learning simple human anatomy is the worst mistake you will ever make

thats why it's been so hard to get the style i have today.

scrap the anime. just scrap it, learn normal anatomy and how to draw better, and then, if you like it, go back to anime.
but learn simple human structure first.
please......you may think i'm over reacting, or flaming you, or telling you you suck, thats what i used to think when people told me this....
