Tokyo Warhearts is my favourite album from them, btw.

Well just in case you'd like to hear the horridness of it, here's a link to it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=uefJ7dEXvog

Aerosmith

Like 'em, but not metal.

Judas Priest

Kickass!

KISS

I hate their fucking money-grabbing guts. And not metal.

Twisted Sister

Acceptable, and an ok band.

Journey

AOR rock man, but I love 'em.

Def Leppard

I suppose you could consider their older material metal, but not newer.

RATT

Blah, not metal in my opinion.

ACDC

Hard rock.

Motley Crue

Eh...early stuff is metal, newer isn't.

Van Halen

I dunno, I don't consider Halen metal...

Ozzy Osbourne

Acceptable

Pat Benatar

No

Guns & Roses

Hard rock

Dokken

Acceptable

Korn

*dies inside*

Nirvana

*blasts out brains*

Bon Jovi

*strangles*

Loverboy

No.

Quiet Riot

Acceptable, yes.

Poison

It depends what Poison you're talking about

Rush

Some yes...some no..

Godsmack

No

Papa Roach

*shoots in the face*

Fear Factory

Alright!

I'd say no way you're in; much, much too borderline. It's one thing if these are mostly mainstream metal bands, but these are mostly mainstream borderline or completely un-metal bands.

Or you could impregnate your broken cable, causing it to spawn a bunch of little cables, which would not be broken. Problem solved.

I enjoy deathcore; bands like Despised Icon, All Shall Perish, and some The Black Dahlia Murder are awesome. As for metalcore, I hate the shit like Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, ect. ect. IT ALL SOUNDS THE SAME!! A few metalcore bands I DO enjoy are Summers End (none of that pussy emo-singing shit), Between the Buried and Me, God Forbid are ok, as are Shadows Fall, but both of them aren't pure metalcore, Heaven Shall Burn...eh that's all I can think of.

Try out Borknagar...a great mix of blck metal, folk, and progressiveness. Also, for symphonic black try out: Alghazanth, Arcturus, Emperor, Limbonic Art, Stormlord, Tvangeste.

Progressive? Well there's Rush, Opeth, Agalloch (great progressive folk with black metal vocals), Time Requiem (progressive keyboard-driven neo-classical), Orphaned Land (progressive middle-eastern folk metal with both clean and death vocals), Into Eternity (their latest release is a tad it too core for me), Between the Buried and Me (progressive metalcore, but fucking GOOD SHIT, very technical as well), Atheist (technical as fuck progressive death/thrash).

I've taken a heavy liking to Atheist, newer Between the Buried and Me, and some Faith No More.

Other than that it's the same, pretty much.

That's the whole parody of it. It's br00tal grindcore with atmosphere with lyrics that dive deep into the human psyche. It's so unfunnily ungrind that it's funny.

That sounds simply orgasmic.
