My opinion is, All the drugs SHOULD be legal. I dont care if anyone taxes the $h!t outta 'em cuz i'll never do any! My opinion is, if someone's stupid enough to do da drugs, then they're also gonna have the ramifications of their actions! Shame on you, Mr. Moore, not for expressing your right to free speech, but for failing to realize that this was neither the appropriate time nor place for such grandstanding....

I agree, the awards are a place to thank the academy, my mom, and so on. Not to show everyone your a bleeding anti-war liberal. He pretty well ruined the night. and on top of that, the actors who were up there were actually told NOT to put their own political plugs in. So he violated that rule. He was just being an ass.

Yes, how horrible it was to have a prosperous economy, peace, an intelligent and coherent leader, the admiration and cooperation of much of the world, the ability to go abroad w/o being loathed, and our civil liberties intact. I know I much rather having things the way they are now. Dark ages indeed.

HA! the only reason he was so loved by the world was because he had no backbone! if they asked or demanded, he gave it! hell, he was spilling nuclear bomb secrets to China the whole damn time. As for intelligent and coherent? riiiiight... so THATS why he f'ed the interns! and the civil liberties? they have been in the constitution for a long time, he just decided to give all the "gimmes" a buttload of money in the form of welfare. Oh and then he kept the borders unchecked so now those of us living here in cali are faced with a HUGE illegal immigrant problem. Clinton was a brainless slimeball who went to the white house just in time to hose the country over.

They've turned it to anti-bush or even anti-american stuff! Oh It was the guy who did "Bowling for columbine" who etn on the rant. he he. -It's murder to eat meat. No matter how you put or twist or turn it, it's still fucking murder to kill an animal who hasn't done ANYTHING to you.

We put them in tiny barns we're they can barely move, we fill them up with hormones and all that shit, and at the end of such a shitty live we cut them open and let them bleed to death (not allways, but for some sorts of meat they really let them bleed to death).

MEAT IS MURDER!!!!

Ya know. The next time I go and have a BBQ, ill look back on this and think hard... then i'll LAUGH at the STUPIDITY and absolute LIE that it use and serve up the good-old-fashoined BEEF AND DOGS! YUMMY!

You guys ever watch COPS? You know what amazes me - every time some dude gets pulled over with drugs or guns or whatever in his car, he always gives up his right to protection from unreasonable search. I mean, if you have 50 pounds of pot in your trunk, and the cop asks you (which they always do) "mind if I search your car", for the love of god, say NO! If you're pulled over for speeding, having a broken taillight, being black or whatever, the cops do NOT have a right to search your car. Just say "I'd rather you didn't" and if they give you a hard time tell them you are just exercising your constitutional rights. If they search your car anyways, you have a case to get the evidence thrown out. Anyways, just thought I'd give a friendly tip to everyone :p

People are usually too stupid to know that's actually their right. Glad that your talkin though.

It's possible that neither are thenark, but probability-wise, they all 3 are likely the same.
I think we've stumbled upon a conspiracy by TheNark to garner respect by falsifying documents. Hey...wait...this sounds a lot like something a REPUBLICAN would do!

wow, I post some stuff here on a topic that seemed like a good debate, and I come back here a day later with a totally disguisting remark about how we must be dirty rotten filthy cheating republicans! actually I cant even vote but if I COULD i'd be voting for whoever seemed the most intelligent, lied the least, and seemed best for the job. And i dont care what race/ethnicity you are. I'm "colorblind". So i guess im "independant." But back to the subject at hand, I actually agree with what NikTd13 wrote earlier...

I think that most people are unimformed about what really goes on inside the clinics and the doctors don't tell them. Some even lie. So alot of women are getting into something much bigger than they thought. I agree that it is a womens body and her choice and I won't judge them on it. I just wish people would be more honest.

I think people need to know what really goes on in the clinics (which i've seen. Abortion is quite... um.. how should I put this..? Violent and ... unclean to say the least) And though i may not AGREE with their choice I think it is still their choice to make, though they ALL need to be far more educated on the subject. And ALL OF YOU stop political and religious profiling and bashing! you make fun of democrats or republicans or black or white or catholic or arab! why couldn't we all be colorblind? stop the mindless bashing.

We've been running a series of anti-tobacco ads about Indiana people who have had family members die. I've actually seen a woman break down and cry because of one of the commercials. Of course it caused her so much stress that she needed to have a cigarette. I respect your opinions very much, Spike, perhaps one of the most on this forum, which is why I try my best to think rationally when presented with a situation like this. I despise drugs, especially cigarettes. If you're going to kill yourself, why pay?

We need an all-inclusive campaign against all forms of drugs. Remember DARE from grade school? Wow, that was fun. I wonder if they still have that.
Yah I think the still do have DARE. That program is cool but the still tend to shy away from discussing hard drugs in depth. I don’t think that they will ever take a truthful approach because they would have to state such facts (and yes they are medically proven) like the fact that alcohol is more dangerous to your health that weed and that acid and shrooms are not very addictive. In fact, a person can do acid every three days for a week and stop without withdrawal. It’s too bad that there are so many pressures and worries it to days society that make people turn to substances as an escape.

And thank you Judge, I appreciate respect and I hold your opinions in high regard as well. Unlike that other dimwit who couldn’t bother himself to read the entire post before replying to it.

Im a sopmore in high scool and yes, they still have DARE, which tends to shy from harder drugs. But (at least here in california) we have a new "health/family life" education program that goes in depth into a lot of the harder, more addictive and harmful drugs.

On the subject of Acid/Shroom withdrawls. I spend a lot of time in the hospital (not for myself, i volunteer, visit, etc.) and I unfortunately happened to stumble upon a drug rehab clinic which had sections set out for different users. And i happened to be a witness to a former drug (acid) user who was having a relaps. Quite possibly the most disturbing thing i've seen in my life. He was screaming at the people around him (including me) and looked as though in a horrible amount of pain or fear, writhing on the floor before he went unconscious after hitting his head on a chair. So unfortunately your analysis on acid/shrooms was not entirely correct.

IM gonna tell a story if you dont mind. Its actually about a friend of mine at school. He has nearly perfect grades, is popular, on the football team, has a job, etc. well we were at an assembly one day and the topic of discussion was abortion. The V.P. was askin people what they thought of it. One girl in the back stood up and said "Hey, it's my body and i can do whatever i want with it, and aint nobody gonna stop me." Most of the assembly cheered for her semi-daring statement. But my friend began to cry (i mean this is a fricken footbal player CRYING) and the guy asked him what was wrong and he said "well, my mother was a rape victim a long time ago, and she bacame pregnant with me, when i was still an unborn baby she went to the abortion clinic to get "the baby removed," but while the doctor was away she started crying and said she just couldn't do it. That decision saved my life." everybody was dead silent. My point is that abortion, whether it's a rape (witch makes up less than 1% of pregnancies, look it up) or an accident (but it was still their choice to have sex), Abortion is simply a horrible murder, instead they should adopt the baby out or raise it.

sure maybe it was her fault the had sex but it is also the man's fault for having sex with her as well. I dont think that a woman should be stuck with a baby all on her own because "it was he fault." It takes two and if the male end isnt willing to put in his share of the suport then why should the lady have to raise and support the child on her own

But nobody has to raise the child on their own, THATS WHAT ADOPTION IS FOR!!! let the child LIVE and let it go to a loving family that will take care of it.
