Besides, I think it would be more than that, too; myself, I saved more than 30 EUR this way. YMMV.

Fair enough, I'll have a chat with a few people, pull some strings and see what I can get done

Andruw to the White Sox - looks like they're putting together something for next year now - chances of them jumping into the Halladay mix, to compliment Peavy and Buehrle.

Who have they acquired now? Starting with last season's acquisitions of Jake Peavy and Alex Rios, they've also gotten their hands on Mark Teahen, Omar Vizquel and Jones this off season.

I'm liking the look of the side on paper at present, when you put in that nifty young double play combination of Gordon Beckham and Alexei Ramirez. Could be some good things happening in the AL Central come April 2010.

I've had it happen before - you get the top left corner of the flash load as usual, with the top right and bottom two corners either blacked or whited out.

This was in Firefox 3 - I cured it by closing the flash (X at the top right in the NG Layout) and then playing again from that screen. Sometime it took another effort to do that, but it should work.

So it is - not that I was ever concerned about the legal age for "buggery", save for that is the legal term for whomever you perform it with (hetero or homo), but since girls could be subject to buggery from the age of 16, it was felt that boys of the age of 16 or above should have the same privilege... I see a lot of those main accounts with high response rates are members of the review request club. I could perhaps check out a few of the request there as well and see which authors respond a lot.

It can be a little Hit and miss, but if you catch any of YoinK's just after he's submitted (there's one in the portal now, nudge nudge), You're likely to get a response.

Anyway some time ago the idea crossed my mind to review all of afro studs hitler series. The problem is that I don't believe he responds that much anymore.

Damned right. I think he's kind of drifted away from Newgrounds, to be honest.

So I guess I'll just have to stick to Bahamut's flashes. I'll try to go with that one a day pace you suggested and see where that gets me.

Well, it seems to be working. Pinging Bahamut might help you in that respect, so I might just give him a nudge tonight.

Alright - my best friend and his fiancee (now wife) bought a 32" widescreen Samsung LCD TV from Currys when they were getting ready to move in about 18 months ago. When it was delivered, they thought nothing of leaving it in the box for a while, while the house was made habitable. This involved myself and my best friend installing a kitchen and bathroom, videos are on YouTube, under Coop83.

When they unpacked the TV, they noticed the model number was different. We went to the shopping centre on a different errand and wandered into Currys, finding the TV that had been delivered - it was the Plasma version! And it was available for about £700 more than they had paid for the LCD unit! How lucky is that?!

Not bad there. My cpu monitor is a 17" widescreen as well. I've got a 17" standard 75lb monitor for my 360. I'd should take a picture of my set up and post it here.

Cool, I look forward to it.

The room: Yes
The money: :*(

I make 7.25 hourly with maybe 35 hours a week. After taxes I bring home a little over 400$. 200$ for rent and bills goes to my mom and the rest at the moment is being spent on x-mas gifts and a new heating unit for the house which is going to cost 3,000$.

Ouch. That's got me beaten - I've got a budget of around £500 ($1,000) for decorating and furnishing the new room, so I'd like to keep it cheap, to be honest. If I can have a comfortable Xmas, complete with setting up the Gym in my old room, I'll be a happy man.

Can't catch a damn break around here it seems.

Well, at least I managed to get my brother to move out :P Now to get the Mrs a job, so we can afford to get a place of our own.

I'm not even sure that you understand what this club is for. We're not (by and large) a role playing club that models ourselves around being in the army. We're to do with the maintenance of the Flash Portal.

First of all, to join, you would need to be a Private Rank (2,500 Blam or Save Points, also known as B/P), plus a bronze whistle and some decent posts. Perhaps you could work on these before coming back to us.

Oh, and from what I've seen, CoD 6 is much better than Resistance on the X360, but when it comes to PC play, I'm not entirely sure.

From the Review FAQ:

If you think a submission doesn't belong on the front page of the site or shouldn't be featured in special sections of the site, keep it to yourself. The submissions on the front page and in special sections of the site are put there by our staff, not by the author. Keep your focus on how the person who submitted might improve their work.

And what is the best option to take for reviews in all caps.

Largely, it depends on what it is saying. If it's saying something along the lines of "OMG BLAM THIS!", then sure, but try to keep that in mind.

I did read the review guidelines, and i remeber reading a guide on review flagging but then i got a garbage whistle after marking everything it mentioned. So i just want to double check before i end up farther in the hole.

You're better off sticking away from those guides. If you know the review guidelines well enough, you can make your whistle up in little time, it just required a little diligence.

Have a listen - I try not to have a prejudice towards or against albums, as they usually have one good track on them... unless they're albums by Cher, or Madonna, that is.

Placing bets, anyone? :)
"Fry, remind me. Disemboweling - fatal, or non-fatal to your species?
Fatal!
Large bet on myself in the first round!"
Large bet on Coop.

Cool. Who's running the book this time?

No, make them fear for their lives, before they are actually killed. Half a mile, perhaps. That should give them a change to pray for death, before the impact ;)
Well, if we plant that catapult right in front of their faces, I think that will scare them enough.
I'm not that fussed - I won't be cleaning it up afterwards :P
Yeah, Bahamut and me hired a janitor, he will take care of the mess.

"Who are you?"
"Scruffy. The Janitor."
"I've never seen you around here before."
"I ain't never seen you 'round here before, neither." *brushes moustache*

Hold on there cowboy, insulting a countries sports is almost as bad as insulting their beer, thats how wars get started.

I'm not a fan of beer either - I've tried both English bitter and American 'beer', but neither has really grown on me. Stout, I can drink, and I can enjoy a good pint or six of cider.

But I would be inclined to agree that rugby is a far more grueling sport, it's definately more dangerous and physicaly demanding and depleting.

It's similar to Ice Hockey, before the muddy pitch freezes over. In England, it rains too much for Ice Hockey, so we played in the mud.

But American football is a thinking mans game, personaly as a spectator I'de rather watch a football game over a rugby game hands down.

Well, that's your opinion - I always thought that it was a sport where the people too dense to play rugby went, as if they didn't wear all that padding, they'd hurt themselves :P

Just for clarification, I love Ice Hockey and Baseball, plus I'm slightly more than just a casual follower of the NBA as well.

And of course, you've managed to create a complete chat program from scratch, complete with integrations into an existing system?

Some things lead to problems, which in turn lead to more problems, which need to be solved first, before heading back and trying to program the next part of the piece. It will come, patience is a virtue.

Educated guess, this could be something to do with the planned redesign next year, that Tom's been talking about.

Mind you, he's keeping his cards close to his chest, as to what's actually coming along with that for now. He'll probably give us some sort of "state of the union" style address to us when he posts for early next year. Then we'll probably know more.
