Hold on there cowboy, insulting a countries sports is almost as bad as insulting their beer, thats how wars get started.

I'm not a fan of beer either - I've tried both English bitter and American 'beer', but neither has really grown on me. Stout, I can drink, and I can enjoy a good pint or six of cider.

But I would be inclined to agree that rugby is a far more grueling sport, it's definately more dangerous and physicaly demanding and depleting.

It's similar to Ice Hockey, before the muddy pitch freezes over. In England, it rains too much for Ice Hockey, so we played in the mud.

But American football is a thinking mans game, personaly as a spectator I'de rather watch a football game over a rugby game hands down.

Well, that's your opinion - I always thought that it was a sport where the people too dense to play rugby went, as if they didn't wear all that padding, they'd hurt themselves :P

Just for clarification, I love Ice Hockey and Baseball, plus I'm slightly more than just a casual follower of the NBA as well.

And what do they call America football in England?

American Football. Some people refer to it as "rugby for girls"

And why isn't American soccer called football?

Because Americans refer to American Football as Football. Soccer was a phrase coined to abbreviate "Association Football" - at this time, Rugby was referred to as Union Football, governed by the RFU, while soccer was governed by the Football Association (FA)

Autumn internationals have now finished (for England, at least) and for the three matches that England played, it was really a tale of the good, the bad and the ugly.

The loss against Australia was bad, the win over the Pumas was ugly to watch - kicking against the Argentinians wasn't a good idea - if we'd have run against them, our scoreline would have reflected the score that Wales put up over the weekend against them.

The Loss to the All Blacks can be described as good, because we only really lost that in the fourth quarter of the match. We played with spirit and fire, getting the crowd involved at regular intervals and we had the All Blacks all but neutralised for the first half. Arguably our best 40 minutes of Rugby since the World Cup Semi Final.

Two crucial try-saving tackles that kept us nicely in the game and at the end of the day, we can hold our heads up high and realistically set a target of some good play coming out of the six nations in February.

Now that's just silly.

And regressing to the mental state of a child, in the way of someone who had their childhood stolen from them (I blame Joseph, his father), surrounding yourself with toys and children, which then causes two high profile lawsuits isn't? Buying the Beatles rights is pretty normal, on that basis.

Yeah, I've passed 900 Responses and that was a really positive 2 months for me. The gain of 40 on Molotov and 52 on YoinK has spurred me on to catch these two as fast as I can. Getting to 1,000 is going to be a bigger milestone first. Being 147 behind Molotov is going to take some overhauling, especially considering he'll probably pass YoinK first.

Still, this is what you've got to put up with at the sharp end, I suppose.

Fffffffffffffffffffffff!

That's like my best friend's sister - she had about 6 hours a week of lectures during the entire first year. When I was at Uni, I had 40-45 hour weeks, that started at 7am daily, otherwise I'd miss the bus >:(
Normally it's similar here. The last couple of periods I had 32-36 hour weeks while the max study time per week was supposed to be 40 hours. The number of hours you missed with the lectures you had to compensate with doing homework until it adds up to 40. The only problem with that idea/system is that the more hours of lectures you have, the more homework you usually have =/ Thus I would always go well over those 40 hours if I actually did my homework.

Well, the problem was that the lab work (i.e. the fun stuff) didn't make any sense if you didn't attend the lectures. This was a balancing act that I failed at.

Anyway now I still got 16 hour weeks, but to be honest I skip quite a lot of lectures :p

Yeah, we used to skip most of the afternoon lectures, because we slept through them. Drinking at lunch was one of the worst things we could have done, but you live and learn, I suppose.

Well, you'll gain your 10 experience per day for that, which will improve your weapon. Moving up 350 points in 2 weeks isn't bad. You'll gain ranks reasonably quickly that way, so keep it up.

Update #63 - 21st November 2009
I deceided to do the update as a bi-monthly update this time - I'll probably head back to the old monthly ones, I just needed a little break from it all. That and the Wolrd Series was in the way :P

bumcheekcity's short tenure on the list has now ended once more. Zouk is another member of the old guard that rejoins the list. Come on, Auz! Just review all of Bahamut's flash already!

That's like my best friend's sister - she had about 6 hours a week of lectures during the entire first year. When I was at Uni, I had 40-45 hour weeks, that started at 7am daily, otherwise I'd miss the bus >:(

They look nice, yes (although you'd be surprised by how many people stare at them), and they feel nice, too. ^.^ I certainly recommend getting a pair; they're great.

Cool, I'll see what the budget has left when I'm back from the shops this morning.

Treasure indeed. Pornography! And biscuits!
And hookers, and blackjack! In fact, forget about the biscuits and the blackjack!

Am I supposed to feel this dejected when someone else quotes Futurama at me?

It could be similar circumstances to when Michael Jackson bought the rights to the Beatles back-catalogue.

Sure thing, just let me know two months prior to the meeting and I'll see how it goes with whenever I go to London again.

Well, there's a new Year's Resolution that I might actually keep to this time around!

1) Endeavour to get Bahamut down for a London meet, by giving him as much prior notice as physically possible.

It's been a while since I had one of Auz' top achievement awards. I think that this one has a good shot of making it. Let's see.

Top 25 B/Per

Now I've got about another 2,000 to go to get up to 24 and then it's some serious chasing to catch gfoxcook ASAP.
