Johnny Damon WAS loyal to Boston. He asked for money, the Sox management said no, he left.

This makes the Boston management disloyal.

And technically you, because you take every available opportunity to rip David Wells. You don't catch Yankees fans ripping the Yanks players, because they know next game will be back to normal. Oh wait, the Red Sox are being loyal by ripping their favourite players.

By the way, Cleveland gave you a nice outing last night, didn't they? What was it? 15 runs?

Response to: Wi/Ht? level up! Lounge Posted April 28th, 2006 in Where is / How to?

Ok, it's my second anniversary of having an account on NG. I've analysed the stats (yay statboy!) and here we go.

Statistic 2005 / 06 target 06 total 2006 / 07 target
Experience 7,000 7,270 10,000

Ok, a ‘blip’ with the computer / internet access meant I missed three days of deposits, so I’m still without a full year of depositing. Third time’s a charm

Exp Rank Top 750 578 / 977,259 Top 200

Level 15 15 18

I’d expect with my depositing to at least make some progress along the levels. 18 seems about right to me

Blams 8,000 7,641 15,000

Well, the pace slackened off, but mainly because I’ve been nurturing flashes I’d have expected to be blamed a year or so ago. It makes me a better person.

Saves 2,500 3,288 6,500

See above comments. I’d love to get my saves total rolling to help my quest for EGSC

Total B/P 10,500 10,929 21,500

EGSC will probably be on its way to me during the 2007/08 season. Until then, I’ll keep pumping up the stats as much as possible. Note the target is to almost double my B/P total over the next year.

B/P Rank Top 200 224 / 977,259 Top 125

Top 100 seems a little out of reach, but I’ll give it a shot. That would be awesome

Posts 4,000 5,905 10,000

Can I spam? I think I proved that over the past few years.

Posts per day No target 8.106/day 9.000/day

I might just be able to up my ppd to 9.000 it’s rising less than it used to, maybe I should start posting at home again.

Reviews No Target 151 225

It’s been a quiet year for reviews. I’d like to change that, so I made myself a target. Worth a shot.

Someone make me an NGBirthday cake!

Clearly you've never heard of a 'premade'. This is usually a guild based group which knows each other very well and plays to each player's own strengths. Allies will win quite often with these. If ever you are in a premade against another premade, there is usually a long, very enjoyable game in either WSG or AB.

Premades are as rare as rocking horse shit in AV.

I consider it a sport. All you have to do is look at the physical exertion that the drivers go through during a race. In the mid-summer ones, they will probably lose near enough a gallon of fluid just by sweating. When they climb out of the cars after an event, they are drenched with sweat and are given towels. Tony Stewart could hardly walk after the last race and complained that his team wheeled his car off, while he was leaning on it.

One of the things I really feel sorry for you about is when the races are for your sake. When I watch GPs from Canada and the States, I get to watch them of an evening, which is nice (Though I try to watch NASCAR, so they tend to clash) At least I get to watch most of the season at a reasonable time, as it is still predominatly European.

Was still late for the appointment though!

That's tough.

That would be cool but it all comes down to one thing. Money. And I don't think McLaren can afford both drivers and a car of championship potential.

I have to agree with you there. They can afford Raikkone and Montoya, but the car is lacking in investment. I was always more of a fan when Couthard was driving, as I never viewed him as being able to win a championship, but he could drive well enough to be a number two for Hakkinen and Raikkonen. He gave such great data on those championship winning cars of Hakkinen's that he could hold on against his competitors.
