I still don't like the keyboard parts on Through the Fire and Flames. If we were meant to have keyboards in songs on Guitar hero, surely they'd be making a keyboard attachement for GH4, wouldn't they?
Oh wait, you're pretty much playing a keyboard when you're using a keyboard style contoller. That's a kind of realism that they can't recreate with the guitar :P

Thanks for the update, Bahamut. I've now been recorded in my first proper update since ascending to the top 250 Users :)
Now I've got a decent record of how long it will take me to get up the next few ranks.

I'm sure glad that you're not a moderator, because then Newgrounds really would have hit an all time low.
The rankings show the top 50, but if you'd have looked at the other 2 posts that I've added after the top 50, you would see that I've also shown users 51-150 there. I've also given detail of pacings for the month that each user is achieving.

Fancy joining the club?
It's a little weird for me at the moment - I've not got the kind of wheels that people are picturing here, because I couldn't afford them. I do look forward to keeping what I've got looked after. If the weather's alright tomorrow, I might wash it and take some pictures.
I'm struggling to pay for diesel at the moment, so I bought a push bike to save on the fuel mileage - driving 6 miles a night to see my girl has been cut on most evenings, so I'm slowly paying for that bike at about £20 per week. 10 weeks and I've paid for it, which is nice.

Damn, that's a tough one man. You have my sympathies and if you need to talk, just hit me a PM.
I've seen posts before, one in here not too long ago, about people feeling after a tragic event that they have been wasting their lives and intend to make the most of them more in the future. I can understand this sentiment completely, and I am closer to my family now than I have ever been.
Yeah, I know that you form greater emotional ties with the ones that are left behind. Grief unites you and from that position, you move forward, stronger.
I finally graduated from university last week, hurrah! Got my 2:1 and am now an MBiol (hons). As a result I am bound to be here less as I enter the real world of work in the coming months. Also I have an incredible girlfriend who I want to spend more time with now that I'm free from the shackles of final year study (it just goes to show that anyone can find a great girl!). It all adds up to less time on NG, but at least looking to the future I am happy and things are looking bright.
Congratulations on the Degree and the Girlfriend. Now good luck with getting employment sorted out, as it's the long road for you now ;) Stay in touch with us, you know the friendly url that you can find us all loitering at in any case. newgrounds.com isn't that hard to remember, is it?

Casualty would agree with me.
Like I give a fuck what people think. My musical tastes are quite extreme, ranging from Toccata & Fuge in D Minor, by Bach all the way through Cotton Eye Joe, by Rednex through Hit the Lights by Metallica and back towards Since You've Been Gone, by Weird Al. That barely scratches the surface, by the way.

The last time someone told me that I'd have my opinion changed, it was my girlfriend telling me to give some of her fucked up friends a chance, while convincing me to go to a Winter Solstice gathering in a council flat. The only good thing that came out of that evening was Dream Theatre, but having to put up with 2 hours of Man'o'War to get there was not pleasant.
Aries Males can be very stubborn. If I don't want to enjoy something, I won't on principle. Don't view it as a vendetta against Slayer. I can't fucking stand that pile of shite that Slipknot call "Before I Forget", either.

And then we took a break near the start of season 3... the disc was misplaced... we couldn't find it... we looked... then we moved... we expected to find it while packing everything... we didn't... so... we're still stuck.
We could move on to the next disc of season 3, I suppose, but it would ruin the whole "in order" thing, yanno? I guess we should just watch the season 3 disc 1 eps on teh intrawebs and then get back to the DVDs. Maybe sometime soon. #;-}>
Try looking under disc 2 for season 3. That's happened to me before, as has me putting a dvd on top of a PS2 game in the machine and getting ready to watch, then seeing the game loading up...
Like Mario in Donkey Kong? #;-}>Buster, Coop's sometimes less patient than me. Ye'd best give him room. #;-}>*Goes apeshit with hammer smashing random things*

That's a little out of context. I thought that "Time Keeps on Slipping" was from season 3 or 4. Plus it's Doomsday devices. These things actually exist, unlike WMDs

Well, seeing how people have taken over various lists in the past month and of course how Wylo has greatly expanded his Voting power list voer the last few updates, I thought that I'd give it a go now, seeing that we've got more than 150 users with 10,000+ Saves.Nice to see the lists evolving, and it looks great, but now it's easier to aspire to, if only the improvements were made a couple of months ago :P
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
Well that's an ok total I guess, but considering I've got 757 points more and the list is about a week away, it's not THAT great, I've also noticed I've been Blamming alot more. But still saves is what counts in this thread :P075) 16,460 || + 0,726 || Shanus 1
Good average over the month then. Should see you making some headway up the rankings. I know I've moved up a few places, but I'd like to see it confirmed ;)

The classic struggle between Coop and DOD :P
The sad thing about this is that I've got almost as good a beard as Ming the Merciless :$ I keep mine trimmed down to a point and the moustache is really going to take some work to get there.

Shit game, when the answer's in your profile :P
A bloke buys several sheep, hoping to breed them for wool. After several weeks, he notices that none of the sheep are getting pregnant and phones a vet for help. The vet tells him that he should try artificial insemination.
The farmer doesn't have the slightest idea what this means but, not wanting to display his ignorance, only asks the vet how he will know when the sheep are pregnant. The vet tells him that they will stop standing around and instead will lie down and wallow in grass when they are pregnant.
The man hangs up and gives it some thought. He comes to the conclusion that artificial insemination means he has to impregnate the sheep himself. So, he loads the sheep into his Land Rover, drives them out into the woods, has sex with them all, brings them back, and goes to bed.
Next morning, he wakes and looks out at the sheep. Seeing that they are all still standing around, he deduces that the first try didn't take, and loads them in the Land Rover again. He drives them out to the woods, bangs each sheep twice for good measure, brings them back and goes to bed exhausted.
Next morning, he wakes to find the sheep still just standing round. Try again.' he tells himself, and proceeds to load them up, and drive them out to the woods He spends all day shagging the sheep and upon returning home, falls knackered into bed.
The next morning, he cannot even raise himself from the bed to look out of the window. He asks his wife to look, and tell him if the sheep are lying in the grass.
'No,' she says, 'they're all in the Land Rover, and one of them is beeping the horn.'

One morning while making breakfast, a man walked up to his wife, pinched her on the butt and said:
"If you firmed this up, we could get rid of your control-top panty-hose."
While this was on the edge of intolerable, she kept silent.
The next morning, the man woke his wife with a pinch on each of her breasts and said:
"You know, if you firmed these up, we could get rid of your bra."
This was beyond a silent response. So she rolled over and grabbed firmly him by his cock.
With a death grip in place, she said:
"You know, if you firmed this up, we could get rid of:
The gardener
The postman
The pool man
And
Your brother"

Well, only 1 of the 2 owners have been suspended. The guy's wife is still active as a Co-Owner. This shouldn't affect the financing of the club and the Ducks announced that it will not affect the day-to-day affairs of the club either.

He's been one of the bright points on the Leafs over the past feew years. He's not going to be the most productive, but he can certainly stirr the emotions when you need it (and sometimes when you don't).

What I'm saying about Stadium is that you should be able to find a CD's worth of music that is frommthe album and burn that onto a mix disc and you're away. I think I've put all but 3 songs on my iPod from that album. Granted, it's a rare occasion that I'll play any given album on the iPod, but that's how I listen to music now.

Well, it's nice to have Chien-Ming Wang pitch well for us, but the problem with that is he's not a strikeout pitcher, which is what the crods really love in the Stadium... Well, only a strikeout pitcher in Yankee Pinstripes, coupled with a home run hitter. Is A-Rod ever going to pass Giambi for the team lead? I'd hope so!

They do that - once you've got the basic skeleton of the story, extra details keep popping into your head and adding themselves onto the tale. By the end, you've got a much more detailed and in some cases protracted storyline. Careful editing does the same as cultured pruning in the gardening industry.

I'd have to disagree with that. Most of the people who come to the BBS start in General. Without it, they wouldn't have gotten a few bans under their belts and made the progression to the proper forums within this BBS.
It can be saved, but the Mods really need to crack down on users being dickheads - non-mods need to direct users to proper parts of the forums in an orderly fashion and if the mods deleted posts for major infractions, rather than just locking the threads, people would get the message
I don't see any reason not to just let it rot.
I say it can be saved and made into a better place, but it needs moderators with backbone, who are willing to stand up to the spam.
