That could be a very interesting deal. C.C is quite a big guy and it will be interesting to see how he copes with running the bases if he gets on base at all as a Brewer. Maybe he'll shed a few pounds and bacome a more potent pitcher.
Of course, sometimes the loss of ballast can cause catastrophic failure in a pitcher's balance and therefore delivery. Certainly worth keeping an eye on.

but... I hope you meant "even though they're NOT both portrayed by the same actor," since while Zapp was SUPPOSED to be Phil Hartman, his crazy wife pulled a murder/suicide combo in 1998, thus preventing Hartman from ever doing voicework for Futurama (about the only thing possible that could have even slightly improved the show, really)... and of course killed Newsradio, only the greatest sitcom of all time.... after its 4th season (not that the 5th and final season didn't have its moments... but come on... That's ultimate respect.

You're a dumbass to think that all of the things a man needs to do to qualify as a pirate is obey the cliches that people associate with pirates. He can sail a ship, otherwise he wouldn't be any good at some of the tricks he pulled in any of the movies. He can navigate via compass, chart and stars, which is definately a sailor's skill.
He does obey certain pirate cliches - he drinks rum to great excess, for example. He also steals ships on the high seas.
I think what I'm trying to say is I'd like to see you do better. You would obviously stand and fight against a tribe of cannibals. That's just common sense to run while you still draw breath, or you will stop drawing breath very shortly afterwards.
Just because Barbosa tends to yell AAR! a lot doesn't make him more of a pirate. I suppose that you'll be telling me that Mistress Cheng can't be a pirate, because she's a woman.

Well, if it keeps the vast majority of the spammy crap in one place, it means that the mods have less of a job to do, ergo it is working.
As the old saying goes - If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I think that most of the users who will mature into decent posters will eventually find their ways out of the primordial sump that is General.
The problem with the General forums as they currently stand is that its a bit of a patchwork mess. Clarifying the rules and having a well versed mod corps would help no end, but I think that it will be a while before these current cracks that have been pasted over with a few new mods blow wide apart and we end up with the necessity to nuke General and start over.

So General is the Ghetto?
General would be this house full of teenagers during a wild, crazy party, and the other forums are the elderly neighbors who are getting pissed.
I don't think I've ever had problems with General users running all over my lawn. I think that's a bad metaphor
Call me a General fag, whatever,
You're a General Fag
but I'll still continue posting there. I complained a bit about General in the last page, so I guess I'm a hypocrite, but really though, those are the only things I would change about it.
We're not all stuck up old men, who want things run like a fucking country club. General can be saved and I think that it only needs proper education and patience.

Yeah, but since his syndicate started to fall apart, he's old news now :P He's only ranked 9th for experience now - such a quitter!

Might be clubbing together with my girlfriend's family to get Rock Band and then once we've got the instruments, we can play whichever games we like from there.
