In Britain today, there are about 50,000 practitioners of alternative medicine, but only about 30,000 qualified doctors.
History of Medicine All dates are approximate :P
2000 BC - Here, eat this root.
1000 AD - That root is heathen, say this prayer
1850 AD - That prayer is superstition, drink this potion
1940 A.D. -That potion is snake oil. Here, swallow this pill.
1985 A.D. -That pill is ineffective. Here, take this antibiotic.
2000 A.D. -That antibiotic is artificial. Here, eat this root.

Well, let's just concentrate on getting to the postseason first. I know you can't do too much coming up to the all star break, but we'll just wait and see. At least the Yanks are handily placed and hopefully are looking forward to performing well against the Red Sox in the second half.

This healthy competition couldn't hurt, as it pushes the players to get the best out of them.

Mr. Ambassador, we must stop all of this bloodshed. We have all seen too many body bags and ball sacks.
Now that's just far too picky for my liking.
I feel like I'm Fry and you're Melllvar from Where No Fan Has Gone Before, only it's Futurama we're fighting about, not Star Trek.
"You have my fan script?"
"I meant me, Melvaar is the ultimate fan!"
"Oh, I was confused, because the scoreboard says something different."
Also, why would you feel like you're Fry? You're the one that corrected me:
"You know, you and I are of a kind. In a different reality, I could have called you friend."
"Episode 10 - Balance of Terror."
"More like Episode 9, loser. In your face! Victory is mine! Hehe! Hehe! Hehe!"

It's kind of a grey area - the work that you make must be your own. No photographs, as photography is not art in the sense that we are trying to promote in the portal.
Some things you can make with Photoshop can be hand drawn (i.e. you used the paintbrush tools and actually drew stuff), without actually 'using your hands' to draw :P
If you're using it to chop and change images to make a signature, you need to ensure that you've not used photographs (unless they're photographs of your own work, such as sculptures) and go from there.

If people want Blams, they can get them themselves from the portal - I've got a decent streak going now and I don't want to lose it. Maybe even a shot at the top 70 coming up :)
In fact, I'm pretty sure that NEVR is one of them, judging from a post I remember catching up on in the EGRL yesterday. I believe he has a 2 blams/day rate and is very upset it's stuck there.
That's because he doesn't do too much on the portal any more :(

Update #15
An interesting month for most - I'm actually glad to see a lot of activity around here again. Some guys who have lain dormant for some time have sparked into life and given this place a shot in the arm. We're still around the 7,000 Mark for the month, but the signs of life are here to see.
And of all the potentials on the list, I think that Haggard's gain of 404 was most impressive. I'm expecting him to join the ranks of this list within the year. That's your long term forcast for improving the gains of the list as a whole, so we'll see what happens.
Oh yeah - Patcoola joined the top 100, displacing FIGMENTUM. Congratulations.

Well, it probably only takes him an hour or two to update the list - most of it is a spreadsheet that you input the raw data into and then pull out the tables.

Have you made mistakes in Overlord, like hitting a bomb then it kills all your minions.
Yeah - the wasteland killed 15 of my level 8 or 9 browns off :(

Well, we'll get him to post here at some point, no doubt

On a sadder note, I lost 36 posts today...oh well.
Seriously, we don't care about either of these things.
1) NG Log is great and I'm sure you are full of the joys for this stat
2) You can always go back to the BBS and make more posts. No spam though, just for getting the post count back, okay ;)

Well, not quite like that - stat threads are still banned, but this is one (along with the list threads) that the Mods allow to remain, because it keeps all of the stat-whorish discussion in the same place.
And as for the list topics, they aren't represented by anything else on site, so they are tolerated, so long as the spam stays down.

Look at Sanchez' face when Uribe boots the ball
On a related note, it's funny to think that Johnson got injured to give Sanchez his chance. If he can maintain his control while Johnson is on the DL, one of the other starters might be demoted when the big unit returns.
A-Rod's 1 home run from tying Rafael Palmeiro for 10th all time now. Give it a week and maybe he'll be standing alone in 10th place?

The admins are hard at work, Bless them. I'm sure everything will work out fine - perhaps even better :P

Exactly - not even us Review Mods need to know this information. Hell, most of the admins probably don't care how many you need either :P

Well, they are Geordies, so they will need to make sure that the supporters are standing in the stands wearing very few clothes.
NB - Newcastle's local climate is a more extreme version of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, CA
Gateway Arch, St. Louis, MO
Mount Rushmore, Keystone, SD
I think that's about the five most recognisable structures. If you're going to count Mount Rushmore, you might want to go as far as mentioning at least Lake Michigan, though Rushmore is man-made (sculpted), rather than the great lake, which is mostly natural.

He could have gone for more, but the Rangers, who usually break the bank have been relatively restrained in their pursuit, to be frank.
Acquisition has got to be Toronto. I mean, they got Jonas "THE MONSTER" Gustavsson! (I kid).
That's not a bad pickup at all. I wish the Avs could pick up a Goalie like that :( Instead, we retained Budaj and allowed Raycroft to walk to Vancouver >:(
Also, it's sad to see Joe Sakic retire - one of the best players and opne of the most respected professionals that are out there in the modern sporting scene. His two Stanley Cup championships helped to put Colorado on the Hockey Map and hopefully, we'll be seeing some more competitive teams from Denver in the NHL over the next few seasons.
Who's going to be the Captain now? Hejduk? Stastny? Lyles?

And for fuck's sake, never put in your password for Newgrounds unless it's on a page you manually brought yourself to.
I echo Slash's sentiments here - Common sense should be your greatest ally. To this end, if you don't know the sender, don't click the link. To be super safe, right click on the link, select "copy link location" and paste it into a notepad file. If that url looks suspect, don't click it.
Also, think "Is my password safe?" You could be the next target for whatever reason.

1) Give it time - not too many people come here looking to answer questions.
2) Try the Flash Forum for answers of this nature - you're more likely to get assistance from the right people.
3) I don't personally know, as I'm not a flash artist.
