im content with everything right now. the only thing that bothers me is the blam/save process. there's no point in voting 1-4 if you want the points. but i guess its the best way to go or the front page items would never change.
nah, i love the new site and how much its changed. i dont see what the DD complained about. If it's that bad, then find another site. It's not worth getting in serious trouble just to get back at somebody for choosing to run his own site that he paid for his own way.

i think you guys forgot to include some art portal features on the user page. The Art Reviews on the right column under Music Reviews and Flash Reviews. The Latest Art Submissions next to the Latest Flash Submission and etc.

the X is good, but is there any way to actually pause the flash? or is that something only the author can put in?

i dont really like the blank space on the sides of the screen. you should fill that in with other submissions the author has made.

so how are we supposed to respond to this? sympathize with you? many teenagers today who want to live on their own, whether it is in a dorm or apt, still go crawling back to their parents each month for rent. and the parents don't care. if you're going to live on your own, then pay for absolutely everything by yourself. that's just freeloading to a higher degree.

i can't deny that it does. to some degree, but to many, it just looks disgusting. a lot of people would hold their breath when passing a smoker. second hand smoke hurts others more than it hurts the smoker. of course, that is entirely irrelevant.

smoking makes you look nonchalant, which is slightly cool, as you put it. they should just make fake cigarettes that spew out smoke from smoke machines or something.

and what about the millions of kids who go here everyday? which is the reason why they took out the "adult" tab on the sidebar of the games and movies page. they gave it its own subtle tab at the top named "mature."

not everyone wants to look at that stuff every day, dude. how are they bothering you anyways? are their 1 square inch ads really that annoying? and don't answer yes like many sarcastic douches who think thats funny would.

first of all, elaborate your claim. If you actually READ the article, you would have noticed that the FDA is not calling cheerios bad for you. in fact, it's reinforcing the fact that it's good for you. the only thing it is doing is making the cereal company prove their claim that it will lower cholesterol.

in flashes where you can right click and uncheck play to pause it, the audio conitnues after you do so. a problem for people who try to pause to do something and come back to find the audio out of sync :P

does it matter? maybe he was in the army or something. what, do you want to check his crotch?

this raises a lot of issues. maybe the rating system should just be combined with the rating system on the comments. why have two separate ones in the first place?

furthermore, why is one on a scale of 0-5 while the other is from 0-10?

which raises another issue about the blam and save system. if we want the points, we either vote 0 or 5; pass or fail. it would be pointless to vote 1, 2, 3, or 4, when 0 or 5 would get you closer to your goal.

A Bid for Freedom was awesome. Except the ending, it was ok. But I can't blame them, I don't know if i could think of a better ending that's not "and they lived happily ever after."

And one more to show you how good it looked before it dried and got all shriveled up... The shield was the most damaged after a week. I had to replace it with celery.

Alright, I just found out that the time was extended, so I worked on it some more (not a lot though x_x). I carved it out of a carrot and mixed flour with water and food coloring (it was hell to find the right flour to water ratio) to paint it. Then i mixed flour with water and boiled it to make a starch and stick on the arms.

AHHH made out of carrot, starch from flour, heat, and water, a lollipop, and food coloring.
