John lay atop the rooftop of the apartment. he couldnt remember the last time he had eaten or slept. Every day the screams of victims racketed through the air John had managed to find a few survivors many of them were attacked by the strange people.
From what everyone says these things arent human and theyre like the zombies from movies but john would never buy into that garbage. It,s probably some crazy ass gang of druggies. as the three survivors talked john learned many things about them. One rather large person named Cole was a cop and was attacked by the "gangs" before he hid in this building trying to escape the streets. with him he had a shotgun and a pistol on his belt strap. The other survivor was a snotty little kid probably around 14 John found him in the penthouse along with enough food to last them a while up on the roof.
Suddenly a loud banging noise was heard coming from the iron door that lead downstairs
Cole handed john a pistol and some bullets. "I have a feeling youll need this. The glass screen of the door burst open as 2 bloodied hands thrust out grabbing the kid by the collar. A deafening blast sounded out as the thing was decapited by Coles shotgun.
"Im convinced these things aren,t human John said as on creature climbed through the shattered glass opening spilling his guts across the ground. from a distance the distant sound of a helicopter was heard. john let loose a bullet ino the creatures eye and it dropped to the floor. a hinge from the iron door broke off leaving it at an angle. Creatures poured through the door as a helicopter landed on the roof Noone needed to be told to run towards the helicopter as the three of them rushed into the back of the helicopter and flew off
