Well, do you have any idea what they do to humans? First, they talk to them like their idiots for four years straight. Then they're sent off to an institution that spills information into their brains against their will, 80% of which is completely useless. They keep them in said institution for 13 years, and then they shove them off. They were given all these images in their heads of the world and what it would be like, but it was all WRONG. Then they have the option of earning a tiny amount of these small pieces of green paper that can be traded in for food or of giving their other green paper to more institutions for more useless information in order to earn a little more green paper. Then they stay where they are for fifty to seventy years straight until their brains collapse in on themselves in the most insane and pitiful ways imaginable. Other humans proceed to shove them into holes in the ground and bury them.
