It's nice to see the rate at which new signups occur, anyone could generate the first 50 users list, you could if you like.

You don't, you stop using the wrong medium. This site has no reason not to be built using xhtml and css, flash is unnecessary.

Wikipedia is user contributed. Wikia is not owned or ran by the staff of wikipedia.

Wikia is operated by Wikia, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, California and was founded by Jimmy Wales and Angela Beesley in 2004. Gil Penchina is the current CEO.

I didn't get to use the internet until 2005, got my own computer late 2005 and I've been "addicted" since then. Although it's not an addiction, I could stop using my computer at any time, although I wouldn't like that.

of course operating system has an effect, but the main speed is down to the hardware. My point was that he's complaining vista sucked but that wasn't because of vista as such, it was because he was running shitty hardware. Maybe I should have clarified.

uh, yes it is. of course some speed is down to your operating system, but if you're running on suitable hardware you'll notice no speed problems. I've been running windows vista and windows 7 from this computer for a while now and it's super fast.

have you tried using openoffice since the vista service pack 2 update? doesnt work anymore does it?

I haven't, but that's most likely a software problem, not microsoft pro-actively blocking it. It runs on windows 7 fine.

Speed is based around hardware, not operating system. Windows doesn't block openoffice, of course they don't, who told you that? Macs have more incompatibility, most programs and games are built for windows, not macs.

It's just an image of all the parts that make up the Newgrounds design, so if you were making a flash and wanted to use a button that matched the style of newgrounds you could download the raw materials and cut out the button.

It's just an image.

What do you mean?

I assume your problem is that you don't want these flash submissions to show up in your account, correct? Because you're only a co-author you cannot delete them, this is what you're saying and you no longer have access to the account that did submit them, right? If you remove that account from your co-author list they will automatically be dropped from your userpage.

go here and tick the box next to "expired4postlimit" and click remove users, then go to your userpage (calintz.new...) and it'll show no flash submissions because your account is no longer associated with that flash.

Not an ideal solution, but I think that's what you're after isn't it?

Neither do you.

To become an affliate you must have some kind of history with NG and have amazing(funny)flash work that you can deliver reasonably regularly, like ego raptor or adam philips or JAZZA.

No, that's not right. The value of affiliation is that it drives traffic to newgrounds, newgrounds affiliates with other websites that have a reasonable amount of traffic and the potential to drive traffic to Newgrounds. So, if google came to newgrounds and said "hey we have this website and we want to get some of your members to use it, will you affiliate with us? You'll get some of our traffic because users want flash games on our website we'll link them to here!".

I think the whole affiliate section died though and they removed it, people like glaiel only have it because they didn't want to remove it, nobody else will be accepted because the websites are displayed nowhere, you can use the fan net if you need somewhere.

Not sure if other outlets that they use count under impartiality, but the twitter account for the show was tweeting things that were clearly anti nick griffin and bnp, which I'm sure they aren't supposed to do. this account had a tweet earlier saying something about nick griffin being a dick, but it's since been removed, but it still has only negative things about him when there are people saying positive things. Regardless of whether or not these things are right, surely by only displaying the negative they're being totally bias.

Exactly, he made a perfect point about that, homosexuality happens but why should we subject primary school children to it? Not even homosexuality specifically, all sex isn't suitable for 8 year olds which is what he reiterated. They asked if he didn't want homosexual people to kiss in public and he said yes, they didn't say "Do you only want to ban homosexual people from kissing and not straight people?".

At 10/22/09 06:39 PM, liljim wrote: I thought he made some valid points NOW AND THEN, but he still proved to be a total and utter cunt overall.

What gets to me is that they ignored all his valid points totally, which I guess is understandable but this is supposed to be bias lacking but oh no, they ignore them totally and then Jack Straw only waffles about irrelevant shit and nobody boos, they just ignore it as if he's a fucking saint.
